Armored Battle Crew [World War 1] - Tank Warfare and Crew Management Simulator

Armored Battle Crew [World War 1] - Tank Warfare and Crew Management Simulator

Nice little game once you get used to it. Was not sure about using WSAD keys for steering at first but once you are used to it replicates steering of WWI tanks perfectly. Mark V good choice for first tank as it was able to be steered by driver alone. Each different tank type has different performance and choice of guns. Tadpole good at crossing trenches but pig to steer and whippet fast but not as well protected. Like being able to upgrade guns, armour and engine etc as you play game and way tank performance varies depending on set up used. Would be nice to have German,French and Italian tanks as well. Armoured cars would be nice as well as used before tanks invented and armies got bogged down in trenches in Europe. Armoured cars used in middle east and in 1919 in Russia along with tanks by British helping White Russians fight reds. Would be nice to have tanks that were developed to late in WW1 to be produced in large numbers or get into action. Some pre WW2 tanks would be nice. (Thinking of Vickers independant). Seen complaint about not being able to communicate with other tanks and charge around like modern tanks. Not fair to compare early tanks with modern ones. Were slow and hard to even speak to crew in own tank and were prone to break downs etc. Really gives feel of being in WW1 tank and fun to play. Just keeps getting better with Rolls Royce armoured car being added and Troop carrying tank due in future plus tweaks to graphics and gameplay

Disclaimer - Early Access etc etc

I wasn’t instantly sold on this when I first saw it. It was ‘marketed’ to me by a third party youtuber on the grounds it was ‘Just Like Bomber Crew… but with TANKS’ and then proceeded to play the game very badly and give a complete false impression on what the game play actually was.

The difference - In My Opinion - between BC and ABC is that BC plays like a bit of a juggling act where you spend more time concentrating on keeping every crew member actually doing what you want and then missing the target because you were forcing the tail gunner to reload rather than looking down the bomb sight.

The game features two single-player campaigns set on the Western Front. The campaigns extent over the entire conflict from 1914 to 1918, including decisive battles such as the Battle of Flirey or the Battle of Passchendaele.

Best game in the world

well optimised, beautiful and fun

but most of interface its kinda Chinese so changing graphics it’s bit hard (u can only change to med or low or full instead of going custom cuz u may change anything wrong and the graphics became bit ugly or weird.

I hope the dev can change/fix that (to revert graphics changes, mainly at de version, just go to the game folder, dlc folder, panzerwar-de folder, saves folder and delete achievements and common files, then every option (graphics, key bind, ui etc) will be set to default

After playing both Panzer War and Cry of War for about a year now, I can can say for a fact that the recent few updates killed the vibe for me. This game was great before the recent big patch. Not because of aircraft, but because of the map changes and the re-placement of all the vehicles. The tank were fine in their respective sections. This update made late WWII tanks face cold war tanks? I know this isn’t War Thunder, but god damn, no poor M24 should have to go up against IS-3s and T32s. The Desert map was awesome, and in my opinion, it was the best in the game. This update ruined it so much, you cant play it at all. All the other maps are either too small or just don’t flow right. So here’s how to fix your game.

Best battlefield game up to date. Immersion is top of the roof with some decent campaigns.

If you want to play multiplayer, make sure you dont use “quick match” and try server browser instead. In there, don’t use official DICE servers as they’re often filled with hackers. Try out community servers where admins are active and players are good and u get close, fun games.

Aircraft Evolution

Aircraft Evolution

Control a plane that flies towards your pointer, drops bombs and fires missiles so you can wipe out hordes of enemies.

Its a close one here, the controls work fine, its quite neat getting new planes and upgrading them, and the variety of bombs and missions is pretty solid.

but it feels a lot like a mobile game that had microtransactions and wasnt balanced quite correctly when it was ported back to PC. Things go at a fair clip through the first part of the game, but around chapter 2 the difficulty ramps up faster than your money does and you end up in a sort of grind, particularly because even with the best plane in the game your bombs never do that much damage and there are a lot of enemies.

Aircraft Evolution is a casual indie sidescrolling shooter that follows in the footsteps of the 1987 classic Wings of Fury. In my opinion fans of WOF game most likely wont be disapointed acquiring Aircraft Evolution as it does a great job at it. The gameplay of Aircraft Evolution is pretty much about bombing the living hell out of the enemies of differnt eras of the history of airplanes and fending off attacking airplanes in different missions while upgrading and buying new planes. In the current early access build the plane is controlled with the mouse and 3 keyboard keys (z,repair -x,fuel-space,speed) and its rather simple to master. The graphics are hand-drawn and really nice to behold. I bought the game for 3.99 euros and feel i got great value for the money. I’ll rate the game 8/10.

Airships: Conquer the Skies

Airships: Conquer the Skies

-All statements are relevant as of 1/31/21. No guarantees are made for future versions of Airships!-

Let me start off by saying that I am utterly and hopelessly addicted to this game.

Ever since I bought Airships (Or ACTS, as I’ll be using) back in late 2018, I fell in love with it. The game’s kept giving, the developer has remained true to his word and an amazing gentleman, and the community (Especially on the Discord) continues to grow and develop in wondrous ways. As I don’t expect you to go through my various paragraphs of gushing, I’ll put the TL;DR statement here:

Pretty cool game for those who like relatively free-form building, designing units to deal damage and mitigate it for themselves. Especially if you’re into diesel- and/or steampunk.

The things you have to account for and balance out in a unit’s design are quite numerous and varied; Everything costs something and everything weighs something. A ship’s maximum altitude - which is very important -is determined by its weight vs. lift, for example. This is probably the strongest part of the game.

So in combat, you’ll be witnessing how those designs fare against the NPC (or enemy player) units; Did you actually give your ship enough coal to stay aloft through the average battle? Oh, it turns out this one has a massive structural weakness and will be cut in half by one or two rockets. Great job!

NavalArt

At first I was skeptical of this game. I guess just something about it looked off- like an advertisement for a mobile game vs. the game itself. I bought it partly because of its low price (it may have gone up by the time you are reading this). While there is definitely some room for more content in general, I was shocked by how convenient it was to do exactly what I wanted: build ships. It’s super easy to stay updated on the dimensions, displacement, total hit points, etc. while in the process of building. What’s more, downloading ships from the Steam Workshop and pitting them against each other is a blast! If you’ve played World of Warships, combat in Navalart is essentially that but a bit simplified. The sheer fact that you can have WoWS-esque battles with ships that YOU and others like you created is amazing. I know there is a plethora of other games where that is possible, but I don’t think I’ve found another one that is, as I said earlier, as convenient as Navalart.

This game is what Battleship Craft should have been.

It’s like my dream came true, what would it look like on PC. This is it.

This game has so much potential and I think the dev needs some more time, but it has the potential to be one of the best ship building games out there. You can build anything from small boats, like PT Boats up to Destroyers, Cruisers, Battleships, (Aircraft carriers) and everything beyond your imagination. The limit is your fantasy like really.

For exmaple I have built some realistic destroyers, but also my own creations of BB’s and cruisers, you can build what you want.

Simple little simulation. NOT going to test an Avalon Hill fan. Wait for it to be on sale, as it has no scenario designer so you only get what it comes with. Limited replayability. A few minor glitches where the game wont let you attack or even move into a grid that you should be able to. So sometimes, you cant eliminate an enemy unit.

just got the 4 game bundle was looking for a break from high stress turn base games the bigger devs make .

wow was this a surprise a lot is packed into the game some is not , so will not be for everyone .

but looking for a good shot out game with minimal supply planning this can be it .

One thing I like is no max turns just objectives But you have to keep going since you will run out of supply but collecting objectives or Parachute drops gets you more . I played on normal and a few battles had to restart .
