At the start of the game it has one key for the exit door of that level and go to the next level.

As you progress from level to level you have to find more keys to get out of that level.

“Oh God! Not ANOTHER walking simulator!” I hear you cry.

“Sit down…shut the fuck up…and LISTEN,” I reply.

Alright, so I’ve been playing a few of these lately, and all you “this isn’t even a game” people are probably getting mighty sick of all these products even existing. Well, y’know, sometimes life is hard. Sometimes, you don’t get everything you want in this world. And sometimes, just sometimes, things come along which can defy even the expectations of those who swore black-and-blue that they’d never, ever embrace them.

Was It Worth It?

Was It Worth It?

Still struggling to figure out the ending that the ??? bot mentions, as he says to go where Terry says is cursed, but the bars are blocking me. I really enjoyed the game. When reading the description, I thought this would be like The Stanley Parable where you can repeatedly defy and anger the narrator, and while that turned out to be wrong, I loved it. If someone could make a guide for all the achievements, that would be appreciated because so far I cannot find anything online. (Update: I figured it out.)

Major Pros:

  • Annoy Terry

  • Disobey Terry

  • 11 endings

Minor Pros:

  • Collect rubber ducks (quack!)

  • Good voice acting

Major Cons:

  • Question sections are a bit of a grind to replay

Minor Cons:

  • Detailed loading screen disrupted the immersion

  • One character isn’t voiced which comes across awkwardly

Quick Recommendation

I enjoyed repeatedly annoying and disobeying Terry -I mean, playing Was It Worth It? I liked having the 11 different endings, though repeatedly answering the questions for endings that required them was tedious. The rubber duckies were fun to collect and I thought the voice acting was pretty good, though it was awkward that one character wasn’t voiced. I also found the loading screen distracting and wished it was a bit more immersive. I recommend Was It Worth It? to fans of story-driven walking simulators with meta humor.

5min of gameplay (i have a full commentary free run of all 3 levels on my channel)

the level select screen was black for me but i saw a vid of it so i knew where to click. if you get this L1 is on the top part, L2 is in the middle, & L3 is on the lower part.

~ABOUT THIS GAME~

Game type-3d sidescroller/FPS

  • 3 levels with 2 boards each (6 in all)

  • The 2nd parts are fps but only the 3rd level give you an area you can move around in.

~MY OPINION~

This game isn’t something you would call good in any way but it does have more than a few lol moments. The game isn’t all that long ether but level 2 can be difficult and i have to admit part 2 of the 3rd board was the most enjoyable part of the game.

This was hilariously bizarre in the best possible way. This game is the exact opposite of what Spec Ops: The Line was trying to do, and the results are just fantastic.

Here are a few sample activities you will experience while playing Alpha Zylon:

  • being chased by a Hummer only for it to blow up after you run for so long

  • attacking hostages to free them from captivity

  • witness the death of your commanding officer, only to see him perfectly fine 2 episodes later

  • blow up a bridge in a desolate Brazilian village for no reason

Alveole

Alveole

An “alvéole” is a tiny hollow or depression – the cell in a honeycomb, or small cavity in a rock, or in the jaw for a tooth. The game Alveole presents an exercise wheel as a small space the player is dropped into – like the wheel for my hamster, but here for a person.

Alveole is a short game worth puzzling through and trying to discover what it is and what it wants. If you enjoy figuring out goals that aren’t explained then stop reading here and give it a play. If you don’t mind mild spoilers about how it works, read on:

Well, this certainly tops out as one of the buggiest, glitchiest games I’ve ever played and still finished and the general clunkiness doesn’t stray far behind. This one is for the for the most die-hard first-person puzzle game fans with extremely calm disposition towards technical problems and bloom filter on everything.

I read the reviews and forum posts and I knew it would be glitchy. But, for the significant discount price, I gave the game a chance and 3 opportunities – up to 2 game-breaking bugs and I will still rate it subjectively based on the game itself excluding the actual technical problems. Unfortunately, here we are, me losing track of fatal crashes, hangs, and stuck puzzles. This is among the game having no manual save games, or previous checkpoints or even bothering to checkpoint between prolonged parts. I am not even going to list individual bugs like I usually do for games I still enjoy because I stopped recording them a while ago. And that’s not to mention horrible performance even on lowered settings.

Excellent game design and puzzles make this a good fit into the Talos/Myst genre. The ramp-up on puzzle complexity was pretty good. So were the models and sound. There is no text or speech at any point, which is actually kind of cool.

We got a good 20 hours of play out of it, though some of that was because we had to run around quite a bit trying to solve whatever would generate the next checkpoint. This game has no manual save feature, which is kind of annoying if you only have ten minutes for playing.
