The Light Remake

The Light Remake

I enjoyed this game. You start in an abandoned Russian facility that is in a state of crumbling disrepair. You explore the various floors and learn about what happened through a series of notes found along the way. Played from a first person perspective, part of the game is above ground and part is an especially dark maze-like underground bunker. You have the option of a flashlight and/or a lighter to guide you and your choice will have an effect on the ending you experience. The sound track enhances the feeling of being alone and, in the bunker, the sounds increased my sense of stress and panic as I kept circling in the dark.

Nice walking sim, with a much deeper story and message than expected.

Short, but at the price, it feels worth it tome. On sale? Yeah, grab it if you like walking sims with very good visuals, moody and appropriate music and game audio, and a few relatively easy puzzles.

Take screenshots, or notes, you have no way to review notes you already read to see the clues they may offer. Puzzle solutions are not so in-your-face that they are totally obvious, many ore in notes or on walls.

Ran well enough on my MSI GS75 Stealth laptop (i7 9750/2070 RTX MaxQ/ 16 GB DDR4), though it did make the fans run up a wee bit. I expect the game will run slightly better on my desktop. No major issues, just a few visual artifacts here and there (some clipping and visible seams if I tried to find them), and the claw game was a bit of a PITa trying to pick up the item that drops from it (pushed the item away from the game machine, and had to pause the game and continue from the main menu to get the game to let me pick it up). So a few minor issues, no major bugs or glitches in my first playthrough.

Rosemary’s Fate Life Worth Living

Rosemary’s Fate Life Worth Living

I have been asked to play and review this game. I have to say I really enjoyed Rosemary’s fate. It is an audio-based game that has practically no visuals/graphics.

You really have to listen to what sounds you need to follow to reach your goal. You have to use your spatial awareness to sense where and what direction you need to go. I used headphones and I would recommend if you were to play this.

Like most games I did find Rosemary’s Fate quite challenging as it can be frustrating when you feel you have tried every avenue however when you finally find it there is a sense of accomplishment.

I bought out of curiosity how to play audio games. Surprised.

First, the atmosphere of the game. I did not expect that you can achieve so much with sounds. I even

forgive the creators for the voice actors. They could be better, but the other sounds and music are

really good.

Second, the story. At the beginning, mysterious voices, teleport and the like. But then the story gets

less and less obvious. I can already see several possible endings to this adventure. But I’m not sure

about any of them. And for that a big plus for the creators.

SALIGIA

SALIGIA

It just falls flat and isn’t worth the cost. Perhaps the creators will take this and create awesome Indie horror games down the road. But for now I feel that this game has cheap jump scares that don’t make you jump and I wish there was a sprint/run mechanism.

Moses did many wicked and heinous things in the past that he would rather forget and delete from Memory. However, it is precisely these that always haunt him in his sleep, more precisely in Nightmares that plague him every Night and deprive him of his sleep. But he begins to doubt himself and asks himself: Are the beings he sees and the noises he hears really only Dreams or has reality caught up with him. Fade Out

Fade Out

I played more or less 2 hours, i enjoyed the first 5 rooms, the ambient sounds are great, the graphic is cool but in a specific objects like a telephone buttons and clock it’s hard interacting properly with them.

Fade Out is atmospheric VR room escape game with a twist. Every time you do something right the room changes in some way and it makes the game feel fresh and exciting. The rooms are pretty different from one another and there are clever puzzles in each of them. Puzzles are not too hard but I did spend quite a long time in the first room.

Pros:

  • Creepy atmosphere with matching soundscape

  • Hard enough puzzles to be entertaining but not too hard to make you stop playing

  • If you like room escape games, then this one is for you!

Blasting Courier

Blasting Courier

Good concept but they need to give you more to work with. There is just too much RNG involved the first few moves are often times unavoidably luck based and quite often even on the bigger maps with half of the map uncovered you have no other choice than to roll the dice and hope for the best.

Fate of Dynasty

Gosh, when they say short, they MEAN short! I didn’t even notice at first that I had actually made it to the legitimate end.

Not a bad game. Intriguing graphics, some interesting history. Simple controls. I can appreciate the amount of effort it takes to solve the puzzles included.

A very short game, but fun. The graphics are really beautiful! It even has history and nice puzzles. It’s free, so I recommend everyone to try it.

Missing

Missing

This game is a mixture of room escape games and horror games, and the main background is the art academy that my girlfriend attended before she went missing. You should become the main character and take pictures of famous paintings hidden in the deserted art academy to collect evidence and get the key to the next place to collect evidence and escape from this missing case.

However, you should not make eye contact with ghosts you will encounter on the way to find clues.

The main character is afraid of ghosts, but he visited an art academy where he was deserted to get clues about his girlfriend’s disappearance, and when he makes eye contact with the ghost, his heart rate increases and the game ends.

Mondealy: Day One

Mondealy: Day One

In Mondealy we are introduced to the secret hidden world of Mondealy, a universe where multiple races of humans evolved on the same planet. Mondealy is a classic side scrolling rpg adventure where you build relationships with various people in order to change the world around you in meaningful ways. In Mondealy: Day One, we are introduced to the various worlds that exist within the Mondealy timeline. The world of Mondealy is really well built, and filled with tons of unique races and complex individuals. Quite a few different paths look like they are developing that will change how relationships evolve with the various people that you interact with and the choices you make. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this game turns out once its complete. The full game of Mondealy is expected to come out in 2022.

Tldr: Give it a try!

Pros

Art: Surprisingly good, I wasn’t expecting it to have that much polish for a demo. I specifically like the transitions between areas and the character portraits are good at displaying emotion.

Partial Controller Support

Gameplay: There’s stuff you can interact with. You have a phone that shows you tasks, and you can check you inventory. Well Optimized.

Sound: It’s alright.

Cons

There’s Fast Travel, but only on the surface.

It’s also kinda pointless because on the way to the Forest there’s a few screens besides each other with Fast Travel, but below the surface there’s no Fast Travel.
