Abandoned Croxon Mansion
Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first review for another one of Anamik Majumdar’s asset flips.
Abandoned Croxon Mansion is a template flip from Anamik Majumdar, who keeps reskinning the same lame GameMaker Studio game template and re-releasing it on Steam with a few minor changes. The GameMaker Studio template he keeps re-releasing is just a basic retro pixel (couldn’t he rip off a template with proper graphics??) 2D top down/platformer stealth/action game. Here’s some other results of his copy+paste school of “game development”:

The Kind Camomille
The game is lacking in many aspects. It is a beautiful game visually and audibly but the actual gameplay and UI needs work.
The game doesn’t really have a story because each character you interact with only says one or two lines so it doesn’t feel immersive. The overall game is just a fetch quest with very little puzzle aspects, other than finding the items needed.
Overall improvements that are needed to make the game more playable.
-It needs a tutorial. Even though this game is an exploration game for most of it I was just super confused as to what I was doing and where I needed to go. This got quiet frustrating as well.

This is charming, relaxing game. It is based on kindness. The graphics are beautiful and the music score perfect for the game’s theme. This is truly a delightful games for the whole family.

Indie developers from Indonesia may be a minority, but they are definitely on the rise! Take the Dreadout franchise or the recent demo Who Is He: Let Me Out- and what’s one thing they got in common? HORROR!!! Gamecom Team’s A Day Without Me (ADW) is yet another! The dev’s portfolio includes having worked on the mobile game Babol, with a Crash-Bash likeness but as an animate box and Parakacuk, a gang-based brawler set in a school!

Follow her quiet tale, that descends into the unthinkable, where innocence is soiled and shadows stir.
