Hotel Transylvania 3: Monsters Overboard
I did like this game; however, I feel compelled to not recommend or endorse it for others, unless its on sale for a really good price, you want to entertain younger kids with a family friendly title.
The gameplay takes a little getting used to, I highly recommend keyboard and mouse for this one. The puzzles are also really good and well thought out so props for that. The unique impa minions you control is also a cool feature, switching between them to perform certain tasks to help you progress.

Dracula: Vampires vs. Zombies
Good bow mechanics, good take on waves with addition of rescues, powerups, enemies and most importantly - just fun to play! Stay for a quick play or stay for a while, it’s all good. The pace is frantic but manageable and satisfying. I’d love more cotent but what is there has replay value. Thumbs up!

Not just another bow and arrow game! Its stupidly addictive and well made, the pace and variety is perfect. Working through the city is well worth the effort to make it to the forrest and instead of feeling like a chore like a lot of other similar games, you cant put the controllers down because you have to have one more go. The voice overs are brilliant, feels like an 80s film that can make fun of itself. Im sure there will be more levels to come, the devs seem to be pretty active and want feedback.

Covenanted
Covenanted is a hand-drawn rogue-like with RPG elements and an original turn-based combat system
A contract with the devil is always a bad idea [/]
The heroine of Covenanted, bound by a contract with the Devil, is on a journey through the magical world. Pursued by the Inquisition and blackmailed by the Devil, she has to balance between light and darkness in order to gain the support of powerful allies and break the endless cycle of rebirth
Combat Alchemy [/]
The journey is full of dangers! As the game progresses, the witch collects recipes for unique potions and gathers ingredients to make her magic even more powerful. Each recipe has its own unique effect
Procedural generation [/]
The global map of Covenanted is generated for each session. The variety of locations, the number of opponents and the available rewards are selected in such a way that each race is different from the previous one
Visual style [/]
We pride ourselves on the visual style of the game. All the main elements were drawn with ink on paper and digitized. The world of Covenanted is growing, our artists are working on new characters and locations
Random events and story quests [/]
We want players to feel the impact of the decisions made in story quests throughout the game. Despite one true ending, the fate of the Covenanted side heroes remains in the hands of the player
Fairy Middle Ages [/]
When creating the world, we were inspired by the worlds of the fantasy genre, world folklore, myths and legends. In Covenanted, elves and werewolves live in the same world with the characters of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales and ancient myths

Vampires' Melody
Review with accompanying screenshots at Sinical Network

I recently received a beta key of this game for free from MyLifeforAiur as a translator and beta-tester for this game.
AsicxArt has released its 5th title on Steam for 2020 with Vampires' Melody, containing thriller, romance, fantasy and fan service. This visual novel features an apprentice chef Raylan Monroe, and a vampire girl Yella Lester. Raylan is gathering ingredients for his restaurant in the wilderness one day when he stumbles across a girl sleeping inside a tree who had taken shelter from a heavy thunderstorm.

Great indie VN that could give an experienced developer a run for their money.
Vampire Melody….just another day browsing the steam store and saw this one sale, decided to try this one out and what do you know! another great find!. This is the fourth game made by an indie develop called AsicxArt which I never heard of before but now they’re are definitely on my radar.
Now about the game
In a nutshell the reason I enjoyed the visual novel was:
(+) Live 2D sprite
(+) Multiple endings

Bloody Layne
Bloody Layne tells a dark vampire story with fully voiced dialogue. You decide, how to play and which path the story will take.
-
Play as you want to play! Not grinding is most rewarding!
-
Drink the blood from your enemies, transform into a bat or become a new Nosferatu with his own servants. Let Layne bath in the blood of his enemies and become insane.
-
Unlock different endings, each with unique storylines and battles.
-
Choose between different skills and create your own playstyle.
-
Straight forward dialogue and meaningful dialogue choices, which have real consequences.
-
Enjoy fast combat with lots of variety. Encounter more than 30 enemy types, which will try to claim the bounty on your head!
Control Layne, who wakes up and finds out that he has been bitten by a vampire. A dark voice whispers to Layne in his head and teaches him how to defend himself with magic and how to get stronger! Now Layne will have to face his creator, who lives in his castle on the mountains. A random set of bosses will challenge Layne on his way to the top, like the Black Mage, who can help you to become human again. Layne might be haunted by the old castle ghost, who eventually transforms into his old rotten body. Sometimes a vampire hunter will show up, to challenge Layne to a duel. An Assassin might stop Layne and lets him dance to avoid a rain of bombs.
Tip: Just play as you want on your first playthrough and have fun.
Spooky Bonus
Spooky Bonus is a casual game that is set in a town called Old Town. This town has been haunted by an evil vampiress who is the cause of the strange things happening. It is up to you to take out the vampiress in various parts of Old Town by navigating the 100 levels of board matching 3s of candles, toads, cats, skulls and other enemies. Matching more than 3 of a kind results in bonus powerups that can be used to eliminate enemies on the board. Coins randomly come down to the board that will come in handy as part of the game’s currency.

AT A GLANCE:
4/5 Stars - I am partial to spooky Halloween games, so this one grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. For me, this game is awesome! The whole ambience of the game is what made it for me. Grey Alien Games did a great job on this title, and I would highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good match 3 game.
GAME GENRE:
Match 3, Casual, Time Management, Puzzle, Spooky, Indie, Single Player, Point & Click
GAME DESCRIPTION:
Release Date: Oct. 2015 - Spooky Bonus has 100 levels, two game modes (which are Casual and Timed), and a need to decorate your spooky house with items you collect and buy along the way. Throughout the game the levels get progressively harder, especially when playing in Timed Mode. A match 3 game is exactly what it sounds like, match 3 like objects in a row and those matches disappear. Continue matching till the quota for an object has been met. Bonus items, and power-up items are also available to use.

Intrepid Izzy
Intrepid Izzy is a great game that has the old school charm with new age design, graphics, and personality. This game reminds me of the “New Super Mario” games on Wii or Switch. There is that nostalgic feeling while playing these games but also a fresh and relevant game play for 2020.
Playing Intrepid Izzy, you have the freedom to move around and re-enter stages. This is part of the games charm, as you acquire new suites while going to different levels. These suites give Izzy powers, such as fly/glide or climbing walls. As Izzy progresses through the game, she can go back to previous stages to find additional key items.

This is a case study on how important sounddesign is in a game. Visually the game is top notch but then you have 15 sec looping music and bad stock sound effects that really distract from the experience.
I do recommend the game but only with the music turned off.

JARS
Though this game still has bugs, especially for Windows machines, it is a fairly interesting game that is sometimes a bit confusing to suss out what is going on. It’s fairly good.

More interesting reviews on Fenol Baron Approves Curator Page
Nice little puzzle game that combines tower defense gameplay, Tim Burton’s humorous grotesque style and easy-to-use game mechanics. With the help of his insects and animals, the boy Victor will have to uncover the secrets of the dark nooks and crannies of his house, entering into a confrontation with annoying pests. You can use from 1 to 3 types of units, depending on the type of mission to be completed and the conditions for its implementation. Each species has its own peculiarity, there are powerful punching bumblebees, and small mosquitoes, prickly hedgehogs to protect confined spaces and other specimens. The set of tactics, albeit not huge, is quite sufficient for a fun game, and various types of equipment allow you to create interesting options for defense and attack. I did not like the fact that some missions had to be completed exclusively in the way the developers intended (most often this concerned missions with one single ward). And the most unpleasant thing was the moment when a prerequisite for starting a mission was the presence in my squad of a certain unit, which can only be bought in a junk shop. It is very expensive and if there is no money for it (and I did not have it), then the only option was to start a boring grind of currency in previous missions, and in the local endless mode. This is a strange idea, to be honest. In all other respects, this is such a solid good puzzle, which is very pleasant to play in the evening, quite sincere and dynamic.
