Hardwork Simulator
That didn’t work for me. I got caught and got fired for it. They put a younger, prettier assistant in my place. But I doubt she types as fast as I do. They were the ones who lost

On the one hand, I really want to give the game a thumbs up for a creative and somewhat neat idea for a really cheap price.
On the other hand, though, I really must give it a thumbs down for not offering much at all, even at this price level plus thirty percent off; because in the end, cheap does just not justify bland.
I do enjoy any just semi-rewarding grinding game for a while, but looking at the short time invested here, I had rather counted cars drive by my window - even if the game had been for free. Where the game mechanics in any way challenging or rewarding, it would be a different story. However, it is random key bashing in it’s dullest form.

Revolution 60
If you have synesthesia, get some sunglasses before you play this game, and play it with care. It’s been about two hours since I stopped playing it and I still feel dizzy, disoriented, and nauseous.
I really like this game, but the colors, the lighting, the bloom, the motion blur– all these things put together make me feel as though I’ve been playing the game while sitting inside of a spinning dryer.
EDIT: Just completed it on Girlfriend mode.
Where to start. The Internet really wants you to make things seem worse than they are, but I refuse. Revolution 60 is a game where all the pieces are in place (nearly): there’s music, sound effects, graphics (though the anatomy, esp. the characters' heads, prevents anyone from really taking the drama seriously), and a control scheme, a movement scheme, a battle system, but all the parts are so disparate that they do not work well at all together.

This game is a port of the original IOS release, and, generally-speaking, an improvement over the original game. The controls are more responsive and the framerate is extremely stable. Though the game has issues with certain GPUs according to some users, it is generally more functional and more competent than the original game, with a clear attempt made at addressing the laundry-list of technical problems the original game had. The framerate is fixed, the audio mixing woes are fixed, the synchronization errors are fixed, the model tearing is gone. The game looks smoother and moves better than ever before, and I’ll give Giant Spacekat Studio its props for getting this much done. New content was added, including new responses for Holiday, new animations, and new skins for all the characters. By all accounts, this is an outstanding achievement on Giant Spacekat’s part at fixing the game’s various outstanding issues, and it deserves respect for doing so.

Western Press
Western Press is Bandit-1’s first ever game on Steam while it is publisher Surprise Attack’s tenth. This time around they’ve delivered one of the most ingenious games that I have played this year in a gun toting wild west game that will be all over in a matter of seconds. The concept isn’t new it’s the delivery that is. Players – and you can play as a single player against a competitive AI – aim to beat a row of controller presses as quickly as possible. It’s a wild west shoot out as the quickest to ‘draw’ is the winner just as it was back in the days of the wild west partner.

TLDR: Beatable in one sitting. Eye catching memory game but the couch VS is victim to skills ceiling even with the handicap feature.
Twitch or Memory based duel against bots or local coop. Supports keyboard or Xbox360 pad, good customization on rules for what keys are used. Fair and well executed. Steam workshop for extra stage and character is a nice little extra.
There is a 10 duels single player campaign to get your feet wet. The multiplayer is dead with no servers leaving you stranded with the short lived single player. Thankfully you can also set custom tournaments with bots of varying difficult and appearance for yourself as well for variety, and throw in couch co-op players in there to see who can advance as the grand finalist.

Hacker’s Beat
I was looking for a different kind of rhythm game and this might be it. From watching the gameplay videos of this game, it got me pretty hyped. The fact that the edit mode just came out just get me even more excited to play this game.
The core gameplay is alright, I’ve certainly had some fun playing some of the charts but I think there’s something wrong or missing from the game. For example, after exiting the result screen I was greeted by random white triangles on a black background while the music’s still playing. I thought “Oh, something cool is happening” so I started to mash the keyboard for a few minutes only to realize it has crashed.

Wow! After my very first playthrough I found myself inspired enough to write a positive review. The music is phenomenal! The visual a bit on the trippy side, and it’s a good idea to preview the songs before trying them out in-game, to get a feel for what they may throw at you. It’s not easy, and that’s not a bad thing…as it poses a good challenge that gets easier with familiarity. This game is in my favorites playlist already…so with less than a half-hour played at the time of reviewing Hacker’s Beat. it’s safe to say my playtime will grow rapidly. This game may not be for everyone, but it sure is for me!

Typefighters (Steam Edition)
I’m gonna keep it very short and very.. whatever. I played this game a year ago and I took it again now just for fun xD
Well, I won only one thing in my entire life - European championships for typing speed or something like this. I mean, various titles in the same “competition” type XD
One can probably argue that this is one of the many causes that forced me to undergo surgery three times on my right hand, but this is another story.. xD
Well, I have always typed like at 700-800 characters per minute (NOT WPM, that means WORDS per minute! 800 words per minute I think not even an octopus). So this game was one of my very first choices on Steam.

This game has very great potential and I love the way it’s programmed. It has a very simple design, focusing only on the typing with no superfluous graphic distractions. The amount of modes is nice, and provides variety for those who want a simple game to play, and it also offers multiplayer options with people online. I personally play the Stream Mode, as it lets you know your WPM (since I purchased the game to help me type faster). HOWEVER. At the time of this review, I am VERY disappointed in the word choices: fake words, misspelled words, Roman numerals, acronyms, unnecessary apostrophes, proper nouns that aren’t capitalized, and way too many words about reproductive organs. I’m not sure if users are the ones who contribute to the word lists, but since you have to be online to play this game anyway, I think it would be better if the game just pulled words from an online dictionary instead.

Mainlining
TL;DR (good deal of gameplay from free demo): Mainlining is a fun adventure game with a clever and unique twist where you hack computers, websites, and other devices to mine information on the different cases presented to you. The game doesn’t hold your hand, so the cases can present a fun little challenge beyond the first tutorial. Highly recommended! If you want to see a playthrough of the first (tutorial) case, check out this video (Demo version):

Neutral Recommendation: Only Pick Up At A Discount
- Gameplay: Interfacing with the game is fairly straightforward. You’re using a simulation of a computer desktop. The main complaint is that you can only backspace to make changes to text in the Notepad program. You cannot edit the text freely, so if you want to make a change to something at the top of the file, you’d have to erase everything and start over. Luckily, you’ll find that program is mostly useless.
The lame thing is that, for most cases, you can only turn in one-piece of evidence linking the person to the crime, although there may be several in reality. Also, you have to pick the right location for the person, so even if you have the evidence correct, if you don’t choose the right location, it somehow ends up as a False Arrest. It doesn’t really make any sense that you could have sufficient evidence, but a person is Falsely Accused because they were in a different location than you originally thought they were (i.e. at work instead of at home.) That’s just dumb…

Frog Fractions: Game of the Decade Edition
Many of my friends may describe me as scholarly, educated, a menace to society. In all my years of education not one person, teacher, computer program, textbook, or any other form of education has compared to Frog Fractions. While I once thought I was talented in the act of mathematics, Frog Fractions proved me wrong. In a simple 4th of an hour, I have gained more knowledge than ye average scholar over a lifetime. Luckily this piece of knowledge is free to all, although it is clearly best with the ten dollar expansion, a hat for said frog. It is beyond the simple humans comprehension to describe the experience and knowledge in a four hundred page scholarly article. Please spend as much time as possible in this application, not only is it educational but a gift to humanity as a whole.

Before discovering this game, I was arrogant. What could some silly frog teach me about fractions? Of what use could this game be if my typing skills are already godlike?
How wrong I was.
Thanks to Frog Fractions, I have found a whole new level of understanding. It has unlocked the latent power of my amphibian brain. Name any fraction, and I can calculate it in my head. When I type, I type so fast my old keyboard couldn’t keep up so I had to have one custom-made. This review took me two seconds to type thanks to the skills this game has taught me.
