Conquest!
For the type of game this is, it is well polished! I spend countless hours a day playing it and the community is nice and talkative too!
This is a game that you use up movement points for, then return in a little bit. Very strategic, lots of possiblities on what to do within the game, and a great balance on how long an “age” lasts. (ages are like seasons for other games)
There’s much more that i can say about this game than i can here, but I gave it a 4/5. The details are shown in my video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vt-7MwCviQ&t=29s

Loving the game so far, very friendly and helpful developers in the discord as well. after playing the game for 20 hours or so, its a lot more in depth then the style would have you believe from the different classes and how they work, to the diverse amount of spells that can do anything from give you resources, reinforcements during fights, and just straight kill you. The game is definitely worth trying at least if you like strategy games.

I LOVE RPGs but am terrible at playing them, particularly during combat. I always play on Easy, Casual, or Story mode. When that’s genuinely easier than Normal mode, I love the game. Battle Hunters has an Easy mode that’s anything but easy. I keep running into combats I can’t handle. So until the developers update Easy mode so it really is easy, or add a Wimp mode for lousy players like me, I’m going to stop playing. Otherwise I like the game a lot. Sure, there’s no plot to speak of, and characters are less than one-dimensional. But there’s a lot going on that I would enjoy if I could handle the combat.

This is a nice game, you build your empire by constructing and upgrading buildings, building up defences, expanding your empire to other planets/locations… You can get sucked in really fast if you like this type of games, which is my case… but if you are going to play this game be aware of something that is most likely to happen to you especially if you are playing it to play along side work.
Admins are playing the game.
Attacks will always take 100% of the enemy resources (if the army capacity is enough to take all)

Heart of Enya
OH MY GAWWWD!!! This game is PHENOMENAL!!! Wow, I don’t even know where to start. First of all, the representation is just amazing–the party members are predominantly queer and trans people of color, which was so special to me. I loved that the characters came in not knowing one another well and progressed to become such a beautiful family. I genuinely teared up during a lot of their backstories and found them all so relatable and beautifully written. The party was small, which left a lot of space to really flesh everyone out in a wonderful way. So story and characters get a 193/10.

I really enjoyed this game, I loved the art, especially Raina design. The characters were all likable and it was interesting to discover their story and what caused them to participate in this dangerous adventure.
Gameplay really hooked me, I kept on playing until the final boss, although it took me some time to figure out good strategy, but once I did, the game was much easier.
I had so much fun, I wouldn’t mind if it was longer. I’m definitely going to replay this, as I really want to defeat all of the Frost and I think it’s actually a great challenge.

Warlike
This is a delightful little indie game. It’s focused and simple, but works in what it wants to accomplish. I bought because I’m old as the mountains and it made me remember playing the ancient Brotherbund Sun Tzu’s Art of War. It did scratch that itch and added some other elements from old school gaming that I really liked.
The reviews saying it’s unbalanced are kind of wrong and also not getting the point. Differently good leader picks is how you set the difficulty, but since this is organic and not spelled out a lot of gamers seem to miss what it actually does. The units are not terribly imbalanced either. Skeleton archer do a lot of damage, but you can deal with them if you’ve made proper strategic choices. Nor is this an RNG fest (I hate those kind of games, see my review of The Darkest Dungeon if you want to see me being salty about such nonsense). It is stately and predictable, you weighs risk vs reward and get to think a little bit about your next few moves. Old school indeed.

A well-rounded and entertaining game, especially considering the price. Everything runs super-smoothly and I am yet to see a bug. You need to think ahead in this game as selling or using up too many reinforcements before a major battle can cause you to die. Overall, I really like the gameplay.
There are still some things that could be ironed out in future patches, like unit balancing and gold gain, but this is IMO pretty minor, and I have no doubts in the dev’s dilligence. Game is otherwise solid.

LABYRINTH OF TOUHOU - GENSOKYO AND THE HEAVEN-PIERCING TREE
where do i start on this game’s review? heck if i know but i’ll try to leave it readable
the fun i have had in this game exceeds that of over 99% of rpg games i have ever played the combat is excellent its kinda like active time battle but each time you or the enemy gets their turn the atb bars stop increasing until everyone who has their atb bar around 10000 or so had their turn then atb bars resume increasing up to 10000 then those characters or enemies have thier turn rinse and repeat
the difficulty with the bosses is legendarily hard even by dark souls standards you will die a lot of times and when i say a lot I MEAN YOU WILL DIE A HEAP OF TIMES (assuming if you dont over power yourself because lets face it overpowered characters negating the challenge is less fun then stepping on the edges of lego pieces barefoot) joke aside the some of the bosses will take every single bit of knowledge you have from this game and any other similar role playing games to even have a slight chance take it from me i have been party wiped so fast i didn’t even have time to say darn i got shredded and owned lol (i party wiped so many times though not once have a rage quit because of the boss’s difficulty it happens because i made the blooming mistakes that made the party wipe happen oh for those fans of a certain super hard rpg game im not going to say who it is but all you need know is a certain npc appears from that series somewhere in this game when i saw them i was like nooo….. can it you are you really them? no blooming way its them (yes it was them i can tell because i played a good bit of that game series myself
