Adventures of Bruce

Adventures of Bruce

This is a fantasy-themed match 3 / jigsaw puzzle mashup.

Players that like match 3 blast games, may appreciate a different take on match 3. You are not merely collecting, but also attempting to solve for a pretty pattern.

It has input accessibility and difficulty settings which can make the experience not only accessible, but therapeutic (the easiest setting). This game can be played with keyboard only, or game-pad only (2 button mode supported), or of course with touch or mouse.

This game is as advertised. My son always wants to join in during the few times I get time to game. Being able to help him develop some computer skills and have fun at the same time is worth it.

This game sucks. Do not buy it. My 3 year old knows his geography. I bought it for the geography puzzle, but the game will not allow him to play any of them until he beats the baby games, which bore him. So, i fully wasted $12.99. my 3 yr old is not distracted at all. The baby is screaming and i fucking HATE this computer game passionately.

El Hijo - A Wild West Tale

El Hijo - A Wild West Tale

Ultimately, I recommend this game, but with some caveats.

I learned about this game in the desperados III discord, but gameplay-wise, those two don’t have much in common. Somewhat easy stealth game (took me about 6 hours to clear it while inspiring all the children) with a handful more difficult spots. You’ll rarely have to worry about finding a spot to hide or wondering how to get through a corridor that has 5 patrolling bandits with intersecting routes. All levels are about getting to the end of the level, and although you may sometimes wonder WHERE the end of the level it, you’re usually steered in the correct direction, and there are usually multiple paths you can take to get there. The game’s cute, the art style is agreeable, the music has a nice heavy Morricone vibe.

I liked this game very much.

It looked beautiful and had a simple and fun story.

You are playing a little boy in the wild west who is trying to reach his mother who went to fight off bandits. The whole game is sneaking around with a different twist and a little bit of thinking.

Like shooting a stone with your slingshot in one direction to make the guard look around in a different direction, blowing of the lamp lights to make it movable in the dark and unseen, hanging underneath a moving Bison’s belly. Or moving behind a moving rail cart.

My friend made this game and gave me a copy to play prior to release, and I’ve really been enjoying it so far. I completed levels 1-8 on both easy and medium mode. The easy level had enough guiding to help me through the game without being overly hand-holding, and it’s been nice to switch to the medium level for more of a challenge. The game moves at a nice pace but there is a pause button in case you need to stop and evaluate your next steps, which I appreciate because it keeps the game from becoming overly frustrating. I started out playing to give the creator some feedback from the perspective of someone who loves to game but doesn’t recognize herself as a hardcore gamer. Despite this, I have definitely found myself playing this game simply because I enjoy it and it helps focus my mind after a hard day of work. I can’t wait to see the next levels! I would definitely recommend this game and I will continue to enjoy it :)

I’m hooked. I’m truly feeling the excitement and stress that a real animation studio manager would feel. It has cool mini games, an annoying producer, a sarcastic mother and a myriad of production and corporate employees. It’s a fun challenge as new demands appear at every level, like keeping employees happy making webisodes, episodes, and films. Try doing that while making enough money not to go bankrupt. Loved choosing the titles and genres of my TV seasons and watching them go viral. It was also exciting when one of my seasons got renewed. Next level, I get to compete for awards. Can’t wait.

ARIA CHRONICLE

ARIA CHRONICLE

Really good turn-based RPG game with a lite Darkest Dungeon exploration style. Less punishing than DD but is damn fun nonetheless. Here are my opinions.

Good things:

  • Classes are cool and non feel as if their skill sets are useless. Roles (DPS, healer, support, mixed, etc) are somewhat still a thing but can mix and match as one prefers (at moment, I have been 3 playthrough including Arena with different mix of classes). DLC invoker is weak imo but someone might find a combo that work well.

It’s a very fun little game.

The gameplay loop in battle is focused on buffs, debuffs, timing burst windows and sustaining your party only when necessary. It can take a bit of time to get used to things like action order - which is based on speed and can be manipulated to set up burst, elemental weaknesses and secondary elemental effects, and the prevalence of strong debuffs that can shut your party down completely if you ignore them. Of specific note is the poison debuff, which in other rpgs is a ticking dot, but here is a 3 turn countdown which instantly kills the afflicted character. Another strong one is electrocution, which prevents the use of skills, and since the entire game is based around skills, it’s one to cleanse immediately (until later on in the game where you get some gear that actually makes you stronger while electrocuted!) Definitely get used to checking your tooltips.

Hard2Fly is like Civilization.

In Civilization, you always feel like “one more turn”. Then you realize you played for much longer than you intended.

This game is honestly amazing for being free. Tons of achievements and several gamemodes. The PVP is like a whole different game. Few microtransactions. I got one of my friends to get the game and he likes it too.

I got this game like 3 days ago and I have almost 20 hours in it. I love it.

To be clear, I just want to say, this is a baised opinion, in the way that a person who holds something close to their heart baises something.

This game is so much to me.

Me and my friends play lasertag, and I sometimes play solo as well.

The gameplay (for both) is comedical and entertaining, it could be used for any purpose and even without audio it is still funny to watch.

The audio and visuals are a bit “off” but once you look past that this game is actually really good, and the story line for the singeplayer mode is actually really engaging, even though the main focus for the majority of players in my opinion is the multiplayer mode, as that is when hilarity truly ensues.

Double Pug Switch

Double Pug Switch

Double Pug Switch is a simple side scrolling precision platformer and is a frustratingly addictive indie game developed by The Polygon Loft. In order to reverse the consequences from a catastrophic laboratory accident, Otis the Pug must jump through different dimensions to stop the evil cat, Sker. Otis has to switch between dimensions and avoid countless spikes and pitfalls to get to Sker and turn him back into the good cat, Whiskers.

Double Pug Switch is not a game for the easily frustrated or people with slower reaction times. This is a game that will require your total attention and focus at all times. You have to survive by narrowly dodging spikes, avoiding fast approaching pitfalls, and collecting power-ups to inch your way to the next checkpoint, all while higher skilled players try to collect gold and purple coins to buy neat cosmetic hats and masks for Otis to collect in the game’s hat shop. The player will infinitely keep repeating from the last checkpoint they reached, until they reach the next checkpoint or the end of the level.

Review by Gaming Masterpieces - The greatest games of all time on Steam.

|

Is this game a masterpiece? No, not quite. It is a difficult old-school arcade game. An evil cat has spilled some flasks in the laboratory, and the Professor and his pug Otis have been sucked into alternate dimensions. They can only return if Otis, controlled by the player, manages to catch the cat. To do so you have to reach the level exit. Survive 34 auto-scrolling levels, jumping over spikes, and dashing while avoiding to hit solid walls. You can switch between two dimensions, and the levels consist of parts from those two dimensions. Switch between those dimensions with the press of a button and make sure you are always in the right dimension - if there is a ground, stay in this dimension, if there is a wall blocking your way, switch to the other dimension. This switching has to be done while jumping (the longer you press the button the higher you jump) over deadly obstacles and gaps in the floor. Quite challenging. To calm down you can unlock hats for Otis between the levels.
