Forever and Ever

Forever and Ever

CUNNING STRATEGY AND THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP ARE YOUR GREATEST WEAPONS (BUT GUNS AND MAGIC HELP TOO)

Forever and Ever is an anime-inspired turn-based strategy game with billions of different heroes ready for adventure. In a world of heroes and villains battling for immortal glory, a strange storyteller falls from another world. As this mysterious bard, recruit uniquely generated future legends with diverse appearances, backstories, and personalities. Only your tactics and the bonds of their friendship can lead them to eternal fame and fortune!

CUNNING STRATEGY

  • Build a team from 10 different character classes that support a wide range of tactics!

  • Battle with action-packed abilities that can be customized to fit your strategy!

  • Every fight is fair- win or lose based on your decisions, not how much you’ve been grinding!

THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP

  • Discover procedurally generated backstories to reveal your heroes' past, personality, and secret ambitions!

  • Forge friendships on the battlefield whose bonds will save them in clutch moments!

  • You’ll never see the same hero twice! Forever and Ever features over 5 billion uniquely-generated characters!

  • If they die, they’re gone forever (and ever)!

Whether your heroes are ancient defective gardening robots, magical animal children, zombified party addicts, or edgelords from the future, the journey starts with an interview! Learn about each candidate’s strengths, weaknesses, backstories, and personality, and find the heroes that are right for you. Maybe your team needs an Outlaw, a rockstar gunslinger who can’t stop dishing out damage? Or a Crusader, a bulky knight-officer who shields your team from harm with the power of THE LAW? Or a blasphemous Heretic, who dares to use their magic to protect instead of fight? These character classes and more await you in the world of Forever and Ever!

Guide these heroes into battle, and soon they’ll discover Secret Techniques: modifications and additions to their original abilities to expand your tactical options. Develop a fierce warband that fights with your personal flair!

Throughout their journey, heroes develop bonds and relationships that strengthen over time. These bonds show their true power in heroes’ most dire moments, and can save them from certain death. A Crusader and a Punk, once enemies on opposite sides of the law, now fierce comrades, push each other to fight beyond their mortal limits. An Exorcist shouts a word of warning to her wife, letting her dodge a deadly blow at the last moment. A Hermit heals his rival from the brink of death, and friendship begins to replace their antagonistic feelings. What story will you and your heroes tell?

Slime Kingdom - An Unlikely Adventure!

I’m confused it’s a demo and it’s super short only 2 min at most and you need to buy DLC to start playing the game?!

Real player with 1.9 hrs in game

This is a terrible game and demo. There are tons of bugs I discovered. You can BYPASS DLC and play part of Episode 1! Just click on your save file then progress. There you go, Episode 1, but it’s bugged because you’re not suppose to play it. I got to the

! Temple part to face the boss, then the game softlocks after the boss dialog when he hits you. The ant enemy is way too strong. It’s “Crunch” move does way too much damage like 200-300, half your life, while the other enemies just do like 30-60 damage. Verdict: This game sucks. Not even worth the DLC.

Warring States

must play for awesome game nights with friends (if you still have those)

Real player with 2.6 hrs in game

The game is a turn-based strategy game. It has a very simple login screen. You can create a room and invite your friends or you can join another room. However, you will need the room code for this. When you want to join a room, you write your name, write the room code and you join. The nickname writing part is a bit bad, as far as I remember you can use 4 or 5 letters. When you join the game, you will see your soldiers after the room owner chooses a color for you. After choosing the best formation that will be advantageous against your enemy, you are ready for fight. You take turns moving your soldiers and getting them to fight with the enemy’s soldiers, entering the enemy’s territory. I have no idea how to win the game because optimization of the game is so bad that you can get low fps even on a very good computer. Although there is no difference between low quality and high quality in the game, the game may crash when you set it to high. I think these kinds of things will be fixed in the future because game has just been released, but it is wrong for them to sell dlc when the game is in a mess.

Game Theory At Christmas

Game Theory At Christmas

✱This game requires internet to play normally

✱The English of this game is made with Google Translate. My apologies.

In order to participate in the game competition, let’s make a game with the theme of Game Theory. Originally thought so, but due to various complicated reasons. In the end it became a spoof game.

Because the game operation method is very intuitive and simple, I won’t introduce it here.

The game contains a total of six non-zero sum games:

1. Guess the mean 2/3

Enter a number from 0 to 100 .The one who enters the number closest to the average 2/3 of all people’s numbers will get 1,000 coins.

2. Dollar auction

Enter a price of 0~1000 to bid for some coins. The person who bid the highest price wins the bid, but everyone has to pay their bid.

3. Traveler’s dilemma

Enter a number from 0 to 2,000 coins. The one who enters the smallest number will get the same amount of money.

4. Prisoner’s dilemma

All members cooperate, all get 1,000 coins, one betray, traitors get 500 coins, plural betray, all lose 500 coins.

5. Free rider problem

Choose ignore or resist, ignore loss of 300 coins, resist loss of 1,000 coin and terminate the round.

6. Ultimatum Game

Enter 0~500 twice to decide how much money distributed to others. If someone refuses to distribute, you will lose 1,000 coins.

The game will revolve around the above game. The accumulated star coins or snow coins can be used to upgrade characters. Each character can have different effects according to the level. Only by fulfilling the conditions of the level can you advance the plot, so you need to adopt a strategy that can meet the conditions of the level without losing too many star coins and snow coins.

Some levels require the character to reach a certain level to pass the level, so when you are stuck in a level, you can replay the previous level and accumulate star coins to upgrade your character.

Lifing

This game is an incredibly unique and complex roguelite deck builder. It does however have a few flaws right now, but despite that I still think it’s a solid game.

The lack of a tutorial for mechanics as well as there being no reference for what card symbols do/mean (there’s a tooltip when scrolling over a card but it only explains the first symbol) makes it very hard to get into.

Jumping from island to island feels fun, but the fights themselves could use some tweaking. So far there’s no way to tell where enemies or resources will spawn on an island. You can bounce to the next island and have no energy/draw resources spawn near you (energy is needed to play cards and you don’t draw cards naturally), which can end your run if your deck isn’t ready to deal with that. I’ve also had my farthest run ended instantly because I hopped onto a new island and the enemy guardian spawned directly next to me and was able to one shot my guardian (which is a game over), no way to survive at all for my guardian.

Real player with 9.7 hrs in game

Short version; it’s not done. In theory the mechanics and assets are there for a game. Sadly it fails at a basic level. As in I don’t know how someone put in so much work, but ever actually got it working.
