Anticorps VR

Anticorps VR

Complete strategy game, mix between management and city-builder with a dose of tower defense but, here no pre-defined box, or unique courses, it is very clear in VR and without alliasing. We are on the best VR strategy game far superior to my other strat games on VR.

We are very free in the approach of the game (be it the movements or the strategy), good replayability levels are procedurally generated at each game. I am 6 hours of play and I beat half of the game, there’s a challenge. The game requires a little grip because of these many possibilities and its depth. Party purposes are epics

I wish it was easier. I never understood how to play the game. I kept running out of water but when I put down the water tower it didn’t work. The tutorial is completely broken. I remember having to look up a Youtube video of you playing the game to understand more. I would love a easy mode or a mode where there’s only one supplies your trying to maintain. I enjoyed it. I just wish it was more well explained.

Edit: The developer is super chill, and is looking to patch out the bugs soon. This is still a hard game with hit-or-miss writing and an imperfect UI, but serious props to anyone who can indie dev something this complex. Check it out if there isn’t something in the review that’s a dealbreaker for you.

This is a very “yes, but…” recommendation.

Empires In Ruins is a thing I should like. It’s a tower defense with a 4x strategy layer, and where you can econ yourself into an easier TD situation, or TD yourself out of a bad economy.

Empires in Ruins Test / Review

Empires in Ruins Review – Conclusion and opinion**

For an indie game of a small team just entering early access, the game is already surprisingly polished. The campaign includes a very entertaining story and for strategy fans an appealing game depth.

Space Station Tycoon

After the Recent update of the Raiders and new riftgate. I decided to make a quick review on the understanding of the game… Times for events are as followed. Police scan once year Feb or March, Raiders will come every 5-7 years these you can’t bribe and will require more firepower to get rid of. Pirates can be bribe but can drop cash and items. Aliens will only attack for your Research points so spend wisely and each time you can spend.

Early game this game is a real grind. Hard mode w/ events on. Don’t build anything you can’t afford to loose. The bathing house is one of the highest profitable building 20,000 a month in revenue when full upgrade but cost 15,000 to get your hands on 1. Everytime i try to rush R&G sends a asteroid to destroy it. GAMEOVER. So piece of advice start small and grow small. 2 docks are find early game. Then focus on BILLBOARDS 1 cafe, ___then swap this for a bar. Then you get into research .

a fun, simple game. there is not much combat. and once you start going, you get going. a lot of reviews are complaining of mechanics that are really … not that complicated?

Income - your first priority should be to reduce upgrade costs. don’t build faster than you can afford. Even starting at 20,000, build 3 dock stations and let your money generate and as you can, buy upgrade materials and reduce upkeep costs for each building.

Research - start research with upgrade cost reduction and then move to increased research - you will not have any more problems once you max both of these out

Ninety Days

Absolute trash. Once you get to the 4th level of your tower, the game is over, but it isn’t. You do the same thing for another 70 days to “beat it”. Oh, and you constantly have to repurchase things because they just expire for no reason.

Trash game. Sad that Steam isn’t policing its platform better. This was akin to someone’s school project getting published. Worse yet, it probably didn’t fool their professor and got them a D- in game design.

so you start out with half hp , by day 2 you have no gold and no way to defend , clicking does nothing.

Super Swarm Smash

Super Swarm Smash

An interesting Tower Defense game - brings a few new ideas to the TD genre.

The interaction between the towers needs to be thought through, but this process is assisted by the gradual introduction of the new new tower types.

Not an easy game and it will make you think - It might be an idea to start on the Easy (Clodhopper) level to ease your way in and to become comfortable with the concepts. Can get fairly hectic as you progress.

I’m having fun!!

Grim Nights 2

Grim Nights 2

the game is good & i love it but its pretty buggy right now but alot of fixes have happen in 1 week with only 1 developer doing it so he deserves a lot of credit & support so join his discord by going to the discussion thing & most of you probably dont know where thats located so all i will say is look carefully & you might just see it by clicking on the game but not play it yet. the developer he needs to make changes like making the visitors spawn more often because im sick of being stuck with a low amount of villagers & i hope the max amount of villager is high enough to my likeing & that zombies & bandits go though some changes like spawning more often & being a bit harder after a while & there need to be more food in game & better stuff to refill energy faster & better & much more

Grim Nights 2 expands upon the original title with new occupations, resources, art and music. The focus has now shifted towards colony management. After picking your preferred location and biome (currently only 2 available) in a randomized world, you assemble four members to start your new settlement. Their perks and initial stats, which are determined by culture and background, will be instrumental in time and resource management - so pick wisely. You can later hone your settlers' skills, change their primary and secondary occupation and assign them items. They will require rest and food individually, so make sure you build them safe beds and grow and prepare enough grub.

Unholy Heights

Unholy Heights

An apartment management tower-defense game about your resident monsters against humans.

While the idea of being a landlord is enticing the tower-defense part can get incredibly tedious & repetitious since there’s not a whole lot of strategy to use here from beginning to end.

The idea of the tower-defense is just to stop humans from stealing your money and if they get away with it you only lose your highly expendable tenant should they have died defending the money taken so there’s no real fail state. You try and stop the humans by knocking on the room doors of the monsters of your choosing and IF they’re home (which most usually are) they’ll do their tower-defense thing and help kill the intruders.

Let me tell you about Popan.

Popan was the first baby ever born in my apartments. She was a Cheepy so I didn’t have high expectations. Popan was probably 3 days old when her parents died in an unfortunate ambush on my complex. I had a ton of other tenants, so I didn’t see the harm in waiting for her to grow up. Somehow, she never became in debt. This fucking baby was paying the rent. She grew up to be a total badass. She would single-handedly wipe out entire waves of enemies without breaking a sweat.

AMazing TD

AMazing TD

Honestly the game has some work that needs to be done to it but if your looking for a classic starcraft td outside of starcraft this isn’t a bad start. It’s still in early access so there are obviously problems/unfinished parts of it but I think its a great start and already currently gets me on a almost once a day to get my dailies and try the new maps. With a little balance and a little more depth this would be a solid td

Things I would add/change:

  • The upgrades curve doesn’t seem balanced to me, I always get to a certain point and feel like its just a waste unless there is no room left to build new towers.

Real player with 30.8 hrs in game

I’d like to preface this review by saying it was written while the game was in Early Access and that fact was taken into consideration while writing this. AMazing TD is an interesting take on the Tower Defense genre. It reminds me of the Tower Defense (TD) games I used to play as custom games in Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2. It probably reminds me of that because it is a standalone spiritual successor of a Starcraft 2 map I had played previously called Entropy TD.

It’s a deceptively simple appearing Tower Defense game. You build living statues as your towers and they deal with the various waves of enemies. The longer you can keep enemies from exiting the map, the more likely you are to eliminate them. Building a maze and well placed, properly upgraded towers is the key to victory in these sorts of games. AMazing TD goes beyond the basics by also having power fields on the play field that modify the game in some way. Fields that slow, speed up and teleport the enemies, increase the range or damage of your towers or even offering you extra gold are some of the field effects to watch out for when planning your maze.
