aton

aton

Aton is a strategic online 1v1 tower offence game with deck-building elements. Construct a strategy, execute wisely and don’t get overpowered by your enemies mindgames.

Combining the best of two worlds

In aton, the worlds of real time strategy and tower defense collide to form 1 vs. 1 tower offense like it never existed.

Nothing spawns randomly and no senseless wave-grinding: In aton everything is player-spawned.

With a big amount of different buildings, effects and monsters new possibilities, synergies and strategies open up with every new match.

Sons of Ra

Neat concept and all the characters explore different playstyles. Soundtrack is a big standout, it’s great!

Having played long enough to unlock all the gods, the strategy feels a little too minion-focused at time of review. None of the god abilities buff towers- only disabling or destroying them. Most abilities either damage or buff units already on the board, or summon a super powerful unit. I can reliably win games without building a single structure, and I would like to see the balance shift a bit towards building to really lean into the tower-defense aspect.

Alright quick review under 2 hours played. It’s a FAST paced tower defense with all controls done through the mouse. That brings me to what I dislike so far. Tower defense is cool and all but when I have to hold a mouse button down then select a defense/offense/power by sliding the mouse then placement after that. It’s just not intuitive. It should be abilities and units are selected with the keyboard and placement is through the mouse. That would allow the player to place units and abilities WAY faster.

THIS GAME IS SPECTACULAR, THE BEST GAME EVER!

Even a first timer can absolutely understand how to play the game.

I’ve played quite number of games but this game is the just amazing.

The COST was WORTH IT taking regard it’s an early access as there are good number of players in the game. Speed of the game is a bit fast, but you’ll get used to it soon, the fastest server at this time must be asia since they’ve not advertised much, damn this is just an early access, knowing that, this is so satisfying.

First Review (When Servers were better optimized):

Really addictive fun. Easy to pick-up, hard to master, and no one is ever guaranteed a win based on skill.

Though we need more players on the NA servers as the only way you can unlock game content (skins, player profile characters, emblems, etc.) is by playing 6-player PvP, and the NA server rarely has 6 players online at the same time.

If you have that itch to play RTD, or to get started playing one of the most addicting Tower Defense games out there, pick it up, and join the discord server to get in-touch with the NA server regulars to schedule some PvP games!

Screeps: Arena

Screeps: Arena

Screeps: Arena is an online RTS PvP-only game. Your script fights other players' script autonomously in a match-based arena environment.

Features:

  • All aspects of an RTS game: gathering resources, base building, creating and upgrading units.

  • You don’t control your units directly, you play by writing full-fledged JavaScript that runs on game servers.

  • Other languages are supported via WebAssembly : C/C++, Rust, TypeScript, Go, C#, F#, Kotlin, Swift, D, Pascal, Zig, the list is growing.

  • Your code is executed autonomously while fighting other players' code during series of short fast-paced 1x1 matchups.

  • The system will match equal opponents based on your arena rating that changes with every rating game.

  • Different “arenas” (multiplayer game modes) each with its own rules set and goals covering many aspects of a strategy game.

  • Only basic programming skills are required. However, if you are a pro developer, now is the chance to put your skills to the limit!

  • We will introduce new arenas every season so that you always have to write new code for different challenges.

  • Play with friends and design your own challenges and arenas.

A game that truly grasps the idea of helping those in dire need to escape their reality.

After allowing peru to play on our servers, and bought accounts in 4-6k. This game has truly made a better place to find friends of South America, and help people fully understand the hardships and struggles these people go through by having feeding South Americans only play Pos 1-2 or jungle. It opened up a world of hard working, can collecting children to gather change and be fortunate enough to play at their internet cafe’s and flood US West/East. God Bless them.

Thunderballs VR is a free VR shooter game in Early Access. It worked on my system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. I tried the training, which is a solo game. Has some instructions in the training but not enough. You have hand gun and shield. You can control cannons, which are more powerful but mounted.

Try this game, if you like PvP shooter game.

Dropzone

Dropzone

So, yeah.

I’ve played Dropzone probably since june last year, when it was still in closed alpha, and over the time I’ve begun to play a lot more and to get involved in the community, which is btw one of the great aspects of this game.

So, let’s start with what Dropzone is all about. It’s kinda a MOBA/RTS mashup, but instead of say one hero in a regular mobit, you control 3 units called rigs. Each rig has 6 customisable abilty slots, Q, W, E and R (Ultimate Abilty) as well as 3 Slots for passive abilites. There is lots of gear which you can customize your Rigs with. As soon as you equipped all of your Robots, off you go to battle.

4/5 for an Early Access - I am looking forward to when this game becomes F2P, increasing the playerbase and level of competition.

If you are a League, DOTA, any top down MOBA player, who rages at their team because they are shit, and you wish you could play your role, and their role, then you will enjoy this game. Because that is essentially what it is.

Gameplay footage can be found here

Great match showing high level play. Anxiety is top 10, Zuck3r I believe is top 20.
