Seeking Revenge

Seeking Revenge

Minimalistic 3d graphics

The game offers bright levels, nice graphics, a variety of weapons, both near and far.

Stylish music and short hand-drawn scenes that move the plot.

Destroy enemies

Destroy all enemies on the levels, slow down time to music and change weapons on the go. But be careful, because there are many enemies, and the main character has only one life. Dive into this adventure and take revenge on the enemies of the main character.

You have unlimited use of time dilation, weapons and 33 levels for fun and hardcore.

Super basic. Doesn’t seem like there’s much to the tactics except “hold the fire button down until you die then click New Game”.

Welcome to B67

What is your job: get to the 67th floor

Sounds easy, right? Well, there is a good houndreds of enemies in your way, counting in bosses.

Asside from cheesy bit, the game is good, a bit rough around the edges in few parts, but still really good.

I personally kinda like the system of “leveling up” your knowledge of a weapon by using it. It’s not something robust, don’t expect attachments, the lvl up let’s you have more bullets in the magazine, some weapons really need to be well leveled to be usefull on later stages.

I would recommend this game if you enjoy playing top down shooters.

Compared to other games in this price-range, it has a good amount of game play, has some interesting game mechanics and I found it was challenging and addictive. You can expect to die many times before completing, but with each respawn you retain your upgrades, so each playthrough becomes a bit easier.

The graphics are in a pixelated “retro” style, so if you like high end graphics this may not be for you. There is also no difficulty setting, and it is challenging, so if you enjoy very easy shooter games this may also not be for you.

Cyber City Escape

Cyber City Escape

Been looking for a shooter/action rogue-type game recently & this one had a cool promo video, so I decided to give it a shot. So far, there are some kinks to work out but it’s a pretty fun game. I’m not sure how many levels there will be when all’s said and done, but the difficulty definitely increases with each level…just ran into the turrets I saw from the promo video on my latest run & they got me good. You can shoot em & shut them down for a bit though. There is also AI respawning which can make things more challenging but also good for the credits.

Good game but you need to improve the UI and fix the game for different aspect ratios, mine is 16:10 and I have to play in windowed mode

Too Much Water

Too Much Water

I really enjoy how fresh “Too Much Water” feels. Many indie games tend to rely heavily on already successful elements from existing games, but this experience feels brand new, and I actually struggle to compare it to any other game I’ve ever played.

While steam has classified this game as a top down shooter, that is woefully inadequate. Yeah, guns exist, and you can get one fairly easily, but is that the best use of your time and limited resources?

The best description of “Too Much Water” is the one given by the dev- it’s a castaway simulator and a survival game.

GEESE vs CTHULHU is an extremely wacky game with a unique cartoon-y art style and surprisingly good electronic music. Some of the levels take a while to master, meaning that you’ll have to restart the level, but once you learn the gist of it, it’ll go smoothly. It may be a bit on the short side, taking approximately an hour to finish if you’re trying to get all of the achievements, but you’re getting a full hour worth of delightful content. If this is a game that interests you, I’m recommending that you pick it up, whether it’s on sale or not.
