Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop
Reactive Drop
The sequel of Alien Swarm, an top-down cooperative shooter released by Valve back in the days.
History
Alien Swarm originates from an unreal tournament mod back in the days and was acquired and re-released by Valve in 2010. This game combined elements from survival games like shadowgrounds and left for dead. For a free game, it had a good presentation, nice gameplay and good graphics. It only lacked two things: content and community.
The gameplay
Like Alien Swarm, Reactive Drop is a cooperative top down shooter. The player plays with other marines against hordes of aliens, in order to complete different objectives. In the game, there are 4 different classes to play, each one consisting of two characters with different statistics including some class restricted weapons.

Friendly Fire is anything but friendly, medics are flavour and death, death do be part of the game. Try to keep up with your team and defend when necessary, picking a firing line and keeping it will increase everyone’s chances of survival. That said, in general, the game is Chaos.
People can and do play solo, but these are usually awe inspiring ASBI players. For the rest of us, team play is integral and trust is key. Communication in game is vital and facilitated in-game with voice communication, a text chat feature and a radial menu for quick communication emotes. Although after a few rounds, you’ll learn to read other players marine placements and apply your own work around tactics of support. The community is active and full of modders aiming to enhance your bug hunt with custom challenges, HUD’s, skins, sounds and levels. Additionally, there are dedicated servers from all around the globe, providing a place for you to meet new and interesting marines, in your fight against the swarm.

Power of Ten - Demo
An amazing game, you wouldn’t be able to tell that it was a demo! A handful of different ships you gradually discover through the game, an wide array of weapons/abilities/traits to select from. Beautiful pixelated action with diverse enemy encounters and battle settings. A promising show for the to-be-released version, definitely put this on your wishlist.

A great top-down space action game. Fly your space ship, dodge shots, and blow up baddies. It’s not a bullet hell game - it’s a race to mine for resources, achieve objectives, and put out fires as baddies attack inhabited planets. I’m a veteran of such games and found this one a fun challenge.

Quest 4 Papa: Reloaded
Quest 4 Papa: Reloaded is a good game, which makes it a great student project. This is the kind of game I would have bought back in the Xbox 360 Arcade era.
The game is a nice, free, story based top down shooter. Attractive art, decent sound, and a bug free experience made me leave this with a positive impression.

Pretty damn Awesome for a free-to-play game .
So far I’ve been having a great time playing Quest 4 Papa . Bullet hell begins as the story progresses and controls are smooth and easy to master.
Tips and things i wish were a better, There seems to be no saving in this game (Maybe for speed-run purpose)
Do not try to roll when you’re in the “Bar” (places with NPC) you may get stuck at certain places (glitched at entrance of the door twice)
New Weapons do not have any explanation however if you actually try them out yourself , it’s pretty straight forward .

SAS: Zombie Assault 4
Two words: Wasted Opportunity.
Pros:
-
Incredibly fun system. The game itself is fun and incredibly addicting to play, with the customizability of guns and character skills.
-
Simple interface. It takes very little effort to understand the layout of the game, and is very easy to get into.
Cons:
- Loot box system. It’s not the pay-for-box system like other games, but the way to advance through the game is essentially through getting items in loot-box-like system, meaning it takes a long time to see any meaningful advances due to low-probability randomization.

it looks fun when you start, but then its just absolute grind, especially after level 35: black keys drop OBSURDLY rarely, hell, im level 74 and what ive got so far: 2 pieces of chest armor and i of course use only 1 of them, 4 weapons and i managed to get a duplicate of one. and considering all time (above 5 months of gameplay probably) ive ONLY got 7 black items from which only 2 are worth using, also never got an augment core. ill also add in the fact of few annoying glitches and the fact you cant adjust volume and music, only turn them on and off. about the glitches:

Tank games Zoo War: Battle Royale online
I tried to play this game and it has some problems but until today it was somehow actually working and what it looks like is pretty much easy that the controls weren’t difficult and the tutorial that I’m doing is simple I’m glad the quality is in good shape and perfect.

not bad but typical exdevs game, maybe one day they will add some kind of progression/story mode in one of their titles.

Apollon 88
For me Apollon 88 makes me feel nostalgic because, this game is like the game i normally play at the arcade. In my opinion, this game has three weapons and all of them has a really good sound to it and i also like the background theme which is a space theme and the other thing i like is that it has three types of enemy. From what i know this game has no ending so its really good way to waste time by playing it because, it is also fun and every time i got a new highscore i got happy and want to continue playing to get another new highscore.

It’s a 2d Shooter game where the main goal is to just survive each hordes of enemies that coming to kill you. We start with 3 weapons where each of them had its own speed and damage value. A good 5 min coffee break time if you’re looking for a short entertainment.

Mini-Dead
10/10! almost…
This game is AMAZING!
The mechanics of the game are perfect. They are extreamlly simple yet they have an infinite skill floor. I don’t think many, if any game managed that so well. The boss fights are great and the music is good.
The game for it’s price, free, is good enough, length wise, but when I look at it I just see wasted potential. For me this simple mechanic can carry a whole game behind it’s back. A small story mode ala Undertale can introduce and let the player practice and experiment with the mechanic and a main roguelike mode where the player will develop and improve his skills. As I said the mechanic feels like it has an infinite skill floor all while being VERY simple and VERY fun. The skill growth a player can achive here would be insanly satisfying, but for that to happen a randomized level generator with both monsters and bosses would work amazing. For me this can easily become game of the year and far surpass something like Binding of Isaac if done correctly.

This is a very fun game! The game mechanic is unlike anything that I’ve played before and while confusing at first, it’s very easy to pick up and understand. While short, it’s worth playing! There isn’t any replay value, unless you want to play the same bosses again, but it doesn’t need it. A very fun game to waste a couple hours on!
SPOILERS HERE
What I would say, however, is don’t play the final boss which is a combination of all three main bosses. It’s not worth it. While the bosses on their own feel fair, balanced, and easy to understand with some practice, having all three together is a nightmare of luck. There is of course some skill involved, (knowing boss patterns and paying attention to their tells), it is luck on what attack happens when since many times the attacks will take up the majority of the screen with only tiny slivers of safety to go to. You need lightning reflexes to know exactly where to go and it’s a pain. Not worth it. Otherwise, play the game! Highly reccommended!
