NORR part II: Will Walker
Start game, all text in russian. Had to check youtube how to change it. Game looks nice but the gameplay is bad. It’s a fast paced game but it stops every time to show a slomo kill shot or some stupid bad guy dialogue. And then you die because you get shot.

Karma Flow 2 - Tears of a Ghost
Karma Flow 2 - Tears of a Ghost is a Noir Action Stealth game which focuses on narrative and freedom of action. It’s the direct sequel of Karma Flow - The Prototype and continues the story of the assassin Florien Kealborn.
Two years ago, a strange phenomenon called “Karma” began to infest the criminal city of Rolsara. No one knew what this “force” was, but every criminal in the city was forced to pay the price for their own actions the moment it started acting. Eye for an eye.
After the Karma Patrol’s assault on Old Major HQ and the death of the Doppelganger, Florien is now tasked with the assassination of Madame Delavix, leader of a group of mercenaries called the “Stray Dogs”.
What started as simple wetwork turns into the biggest political crisis the city of Rolsara has ever witnessed while Florien is forced to face the ghosts of her own troubled past.
Play as Florien and uncover the truth behind the Karma in a game that lets you carry out missions any way you want, making you plan things out and act as you wish. How are you going to dispose of your targets? When? What route are you going to take? Are you going to wait for them and ambush them? Or are you going to charge them head on? It’s up to you.

1976 - Back to midway
Not bad but not as great as I was expecting, or maybe not even good? Okay? Fine? Passable?
First, I wish there were more planes. Second, I wish there was more variety for weapon customization. Third, immersion mode on the Quest 2 PCVR is wonky… Maybe I’m doing something wrong here but I’ve tried all the VR controller options, and on the immersive bomber I cannot maintain the sights in front of me as they swing hard left and right ( it worked properly once). ::Edit:: Immersion mode just blows.

A LOT OF FUN! I got it on sale, and it was definitely worth it. Super addictive actually. I played this dev’s other game Operation Warcade and loved it and this is along the same lines, but with an airplane. Retro meets VR. Love it. (by the way, these people also make the mariokart-esque game Touring Karts, which is also a lot of fun).
Actually found this game when I played the demo for their other game 2076, which seems to take everything in this game and make it even better. Super psyched about that one!

On the operation screen, you will see the map for the next mission. You can carefully plan how you want to approach this mission there. You will see enemy spawn locations, healing and power stations, doors, main and secondary objectives, and more but you can also select to just show doors, objectives, etc. to make the map clearer.

I somehow expected more. The details to be higher or some base building or solder selection.
now I know this is early access and for a game that only ask for this price, it is asking too much. Yet I have been spoiled by X-com and other game of that standard.
I love that it is in real time. And I see great potential for the game. But I am not ready to commit yet. And I feel that if you are unfamiliar to playing beta games you are properly going spoil this game for yourself if you play it this early.

MENOS: PSI-SHATTER
The Game has great potential. It is lagging sometimes. But the developer is so proactive. He is releasing updates on time to time basis. I loved the game very very much.

This game is very dry.
Levels are undetailed. There’s only three enemies: pistol guard, submachinegun guard, and shotgun guard (this one is bald, that’s how much difference there is). You have three actions: fire weapon, telekinesis, and look ahead. Technically there’s also walking, but that’s useless and best left never used. Your character could win an award for most generic video game protagonist ever. There’s not much decor or interaction, beside breakable desks, black bottomless pits, exploding cylindrical tanks on some levels, and shattering glass, which the game author seems to have fallen in love with.

CYGNI: All Guns Blazing
It’s a twin-stick vertical scrolling Shooter hybrid with a cinematic flare (being developed by two self-taught artists and developers):
An unrelenting onslaught of eye-popping visuals, ear bursting soundscapes and mind-melting action makes CYGNI the vanguard for the next generation of Shoot-em Ups.
Outgunned, outmanned and out on your own, plunge into a sky full of hell in a last-ditch battle for survival. Choose to route power between weapons or shield systems and go up against unrelenting waves of ground and aerial enemies. Upgrade your ship by picking up new tech and take down colossal alien bosses in visceral combat; do whatever it takes to survive.
CYGNI assaults the eyes, ears and mind to deliver an extraordinarily exhilarating video game experience. CYGNI does not seek to reinvent Shoot’em Ups but to elevate the genre to deliver the heightened sensations of a truly next-generation experience.
Encamped within the remains of a long-lost civilization on the planet CYGNI, Earth forces are decimated by a surprise attack from a powerful, biomechanical, alien race. As one of the last pilots on the last carrier in the fleet, you are the only line of defence against the unyielding alien bombardment.
Cygni Features:
• With next generation visuals, animation and special effects, CYGNI is a cinematic shoot’em up.
• Be the lone fighter battling through intensely hostile levels filled with waves of air and ground assaults.
• Choose where to route power on the fly switching between shields (defensive) or weapons systems (offensive).
• Collect energy to power up your ship and energise weaponry from hard-hitting nukes to inescapable vortex bombs.
• Launch air-to-air and air-to-ground attacks as you traverse neon-lit metropolises, moon-like landscapes and even outer space.
• Go one-on-one against gargantuan enemies in cinematically epic boss battles.
• Full orchestral score and immersive sound design.
Black Sun
In this game, you fly a space ship through an open world. Your sidekick is an AI assistant who understands your text-written commands and helps you to steer the ship, survive heavy space combat or to find the next gas station.
"Space is a terrible place. The kidnapping of my brother and the Captain’s death didn’t make it easier. Thank god, there is Hopper."
You play Eli, a young man stranded on the antique star freighter Lucky Beggar. You don’t like space yet here you are.
Features
-
Text freely in natural language with your AI assistant Hopper: let her fly the ship, get her help during combat or ask for a market analysis to maximise your trading profit. She knows a lot - including terrible space jokes.
-
A large 2D open-world universe containing numerous solar systems, space stations and ships to discover. Large means astronomical and impossible-to-fly-through. Be grateful if the jump engine works properly.
-
Find your kidnapped brother while making interstellar friends and enemies. An over 5-hours long cinematic storyline is waiting for you!
-
Enjoy epic space battles with hundreds of ships.
-
You decide how you pay the bills for fuel and supplies: be a smart trader, solve rewarding quests or take missions from shady people in the space pub.
-
Your ship is a temple. Repair it, get upgrades and don’t fly it into asteroid fields. Those dents stay.
-
Put on the headphones, fasten your seat belt and relax: one hour of orchestral soundtrack - originally composed just for this game!
-
Modding encouraged! Most of the game’s content is freely changeable by using a beginner-friendly script language and images. Add your own quests, ships or places. Teach new commands to the AI assistant.

Ruvato: Original Complex
Honestly, I really liked this game. The gameplay loop is very interesting and, besides some instances, I even enjoyed the platforming. The story is quite interesting as well, with a good dose of mystery,
If you want a good challenge, especially if you are aiming to complete it (clearing all stages with A Rank), I suggest checking it out.
Overall, a solid 8.5 for me.
