Collector Thief

Collector Thief

I need to recover what it’s mine by right!

As a participant in a strange cult, you’ll control Adami, a treasure hunter with a clear objective. Find the sacred object of worship for the Adami’s sect.

Walking through the shadows, going unnoticed and using a lot of intelligence to break through security, you’ll find challenges to find locked doors, cameras, security lasers and many other challenges that must be bypassed in order for the wonderful quest to be reached.

More committed to the cause than ever, Adami will have the help of other members who bring items and new tactics to make each theft a real success.

With over 6 unique scenarios and an engaging, fun adventure, the real theft will happen and it will be worth more than ever.

Committing crimes has never been more complex. In “Collector Thief” every step counts. Understanding the placement of guards or cameras is essential for the robbery to be a big hit and you can move forward. Here intelligence is more powerful than brute force. With minutely designed defenses, winning each of the scenarios and progressing through the story can be tricky for even the most attentive players.

Brilliant Thief Guide Part 1:

  • Collect items scattered around the map as they generate money and overall score;

  • Use the scenery to your advantage so as not to be seen by any guards or cameras;

  • Some places have elements that can be turned off to enter without attracting attention;

  • The Sect’s Shop contains items that are indispensable to the success of every robbery;

  • There are hints and easter eggs in the scenarios that can help you understand the hypotheses;

  • Always use the game save/load feature to keep trying the adventure at other times.

  • Be quick and finish the job before dawn.

Collector Thief is a singleplayer game created for the unique purpose of entertaining players with a complete story while keeping its gameplay at high difficulty from the first minute of gameplay. It has the simple controls that make the experience enjoyable but it gets into the type of game that is easy to play but difficult to master. It is a complete experience of intelligence, good humor and creativity.

Loot Grind Simulator

Loot Grind Simulator

Another “simulator”…let’s look at it!

Loot Grind Simulator is another idle/casual game with clicker aspects. Your goal is to complete quests you sign up for and get loot out of them and your ultimate goal is to get all achievements…and to reach the top stat of Unique quality items while completing all of your collections.

The scope of this project is very small and you don’t even see what your quests are. You click the quest contracts and they activate timers until they are marked completed, thus giving you randomized loot based on the level of the quest, the speed of the quest, and the expected quality of the item reward…which isn’t guaranteed. Personally, I just opted to choose random quests and autoclick various areas. You can randomize quest rewards, but you’re probably better off just taking what you get the first time as that’ll probably be much faster with less effort.

Overall a good experiment in game making for the developer. I hope to see more from them as they improve.

Pros:

Not a micro transaction in sight.

Clean UI interaction.

Cons:

Assets are common fodder.

Progression is boring and linear.

Personally I have no issue with the use of store assets, as when creating games alone, it’s better to be able to focus on the mechanics sides of things. That being said, the mechanics are too simple to generate extended interest. As I said in the beginning, I hope to see more from the developer in their future endeavors.

Wow! Didn’t expect to have so much fun with this game. It has shooting, exploration and invisible stuff lurking all over the place. I KNOW! Most of them are itens to boost your level, but I love to discover things anyway. =D

You can unlock new abilities and improve your overall stats. Pretty cool!

Took me about one and a half to two hours to get to the end and then I discovered that i missed some blue bugs.

I’ll be returning back to the game soon and will try to find these missing bad boys.

The Legend of Bear-Truck Trucker

The Legend of Bear-Truck Trucker

I spent the weekend absolutely obsessed with this game. A very simple premise, and incredibly charming in its own quiet way. There’s some real min-maxing depth available here, and lots of laughs (with the occasional heartbreak) in the physics. Highly recommended for those stretches of time where no other games seem to stick and you just don’t know what to play. You want to play this :)

Even tho I’ve only Played this for 3 Hour’s NONSTOP there’s something primal inside all of us that need’s to stack & organise everything otherwise known as OSD

Theseus - Mythological Hero

Broken mechanics, invisible walls, and a terribly designed maze with awful lighting plague this asset reliant mess of a game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42Q54oaAaAo

It’s just BAD. Nothing more needs to be said. Watch part of my first impressions review video if you need more about it.

NOT RECOMMENDED, even if it were free, I’d tell you to stay far away.

It runs terribly and looks awful.

For a solo development, it is pretty cool but as a game that I paid $$ for, it is a failure.

Take this over to itch.io for some help and feedback.

Incremental Cubes

Incremental Cubes

At this time I feel like you should probably not get this game.

Quick notes:

  • The game is free, but you should be warned that the game is still buggy and the balance is out of whack.

  • Also not very obvious in the video or description is that while the game is free, there is an in-game store where you can purchase stuff like temporary speed boosts, extra slots, and permanent upgrades to the game speed. You aren’t explicitly forced to buy anything and there is a daily bonus that can give you a bit of the in-game currency, but it’s random and even with the best luck (always getting the 3% chance reward) it would take 10 days to get anything really worthwhile.

Most recent update destroyed the game. In discord the Developer said;

“[v 1.0.7 “Hot Fix”]

Offline bonuses and helper updates

Adjusted to reset the original maximum value on prestige.”

These “helper updates” have caused people to no longer progress in the game at a reasonable rate. Game is now in a dire need of rebalancing. game is currently UNPLAYABLE as of November 22nd 2021. I will not be playing anymore. I will consider my $10 that I paid for the “starter pack” a “cost” of trying out this game. I do NOT recommend to anyone who likes Idle or Incremental games.

Coin Treasures

A really novel idle idea!

I have already put some hours into it and am looking forward to seeing how the game goes.

The developers are very nice and this game definitely needs to be seen by the eyes more idler junkies!

The game can seem too easy at times then the next moment Thor’s hammer takes away all your stuff!

You can sit there and spend all your coins and try to maneuver the items the best you can, but when you come back

it’s always going to look like a crazy mess haha. It will start slow of course, but gradually you can drop more coins faster

This is a neat more visual take on relatively simple incremental mechanics… and it kinda works.

TLDR: The game has some issues, but I find myself still playing it after 5hours+, and still enjoying it.

Don’t expect this to be an incremental with tens of new mechanics to unlock over 100+ hours, it is a much more condensed experience. And if you enjoy more visually appealing incrementals, then it’s definitely worth a try - although the current price might be a tad high compared to other games in the genre based on content alone, I found it more than worth it - and especially if the dev sorts out some of the below issues it’ll definitely be justified.

Taxi Chaos

Taxi Chaos

Awesome, very close to sega’s crazy taxi which was out in the late 90s. That version is available on steam but Taxi Chaos is more modern with better graphics!

Has a sense of humour with driver/passenger chat and so on. You only have a few moments to deliver a passenger to his or her destination then you simply move on to your next customer. Each customer asks to go to a different location which can be long or short distance. Long distance gives you more points but short distance takes less time so you can move on to your next customer more quickly and boost your time limit counter.

Real player with 1.5 hrs in game

Not what I was expecting. Since Crazy Taxi is one of the only comparable game in this genre, I’ll be using that as a basis.

For starts, everything about this game is a watered down version of Crazy Taxi, even to the original. The game isn’t nearly as chaotic or fast paced.

The environment is based of of NYC and isn’t nearly as fun or dynamic to traverse as the other Crazy Taxi games. Because it’s NYC and as a flat as a board, the game is built around having to jump like an Italian plumber to even get a good time if you can find the spots to do that, that is.

Isolation Story

Isolation Story

I received a copy of this game from the dev to Let’s Play it and I really enjoyed my time with it. This is a survival game heavily inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic where you need to survive for 7 days until a vaccine can be created and deployed.

You’ll need to manage your character’s health, hunger and happiness. It’s oddly addictive and has a surprising amount of stuff to do given how small the city is. Including tons of achievements to try and complete, and even a way to time travel.
