Helium Electric

Helium Electric

A brief introduction

The story is set in the Cold War of the 1980s, in which humanity was blindly drawn into the Cold War without realizing that this insane endeavor was causing a shortage of resources. Until it came to a near standstill.

Corporations took control of the action and found new ways to supply the world with necessities. The Cold War became more and more a corporate struggle. Over time, one company proved particularly successful.

Helium Electric had found a way to mine helium on the moon and convert it to electricity on Earth. Earth’s future seemed assured, but at a very high price….

Content

Helium Electric is a hard strategy game in which the player finds himself alone in a Moon station and has the mission to extract helium.

The goal is to achieve the highest possible helium mining rate and you are free to decide how to manage the station.

Depending on the amount of helium extracted, you get a daily payment to support your family and friends on Earth.

If you don’t, your relatives will suffer, your stress level will increase, and your mental health will decrease.

Once the player has reached a total helium mining amount of 25 tons, the contract with the Helium Electric corporation has been fulfilled and you can count on a position in the corporation if you perform well.

However, in order to achieve this goal, the player’s physical and mental health must be kept in mind. You are alone in the station and no one can help you.

Gameplay

The technology at your command is the latest from 1986.

The game is controlled with the dashboard by either entering commands with the mouse or keyboard. Several unmanned vehicles are coordinated and you only have a certain amount of time per day before the daily dose of radioactive radiation becomes too high.

There are:

  • 6 harvesters - Extraction of raw helium from Moon dust

  • 1 drone - Scan helium concentration, vehicles and the station

  • 1 recovery vehicle - Tow surface vehicles in the event of a failure

  • 2 satellites - Scan Moon surface and vehicle movement

After a work day you have the possibility to retreat to a recovery room below the lunar surface. Furthermore there is a communication system at your command. Of course all extra expenses will be charged.

It is up to you to complete the mission successfully.

Rescue Team 4

Rescue Team 4

Road clearing game with many levels as the disasters get worse.

I love this game. So much better than the first three. If you need a great little casual game for those short breaks in a busy life, this is that game. Don’t bother with the first three games. Rescue Team 4 is like a new beginning.

So grab the fire hose and go rescue!

12 Labours of Hercules VIII: How I Met Megara

The quality of Hercules shines through again! Another excellent installment of the Greatest

Time-Management series ever. They’ve managed to move past 6-7 and back to the roots of 3-5 :), while still keeping it fresh, fun and creative. However, some of these levels are the fastest most frenetic I’ve played ;) My head was spinning haha.

Overall, they’ve accomplished a fun, new direction for the series… Genius, pure Genius !!

After recently playing through this again I rank it #2 in the series behind 5. The depth of the strategy is amazing. When you lock onto how each level is meant to be played it’s like Neo in The Matrix fighting Smith at the end… you lose yourself in the binary code flowing around you ;)

Another great Hercules game. I have every version from the very beginning. The game continues to add small new things to make it interesting. The toughest part of the game is the Developers rounds but at least you only have to do 20 out of the 40 available maps.

I definitely recommend this game for any fan of the Hercules series.

I think I left my game running I don’t actually have that much time in this game. I love time management games and this one was nice to play.

Amy’s Greenmart

Amy’s Greenmart

This has everything that you would expect in a time management game. A cute little story and relaxing. Its nice that you don’t have to purchase anything else to fully finish the game. Really the only issue that I have is that I am needing updates. I would like more levels to keep playing this great game. without distractions and straight play though it would have probably beat it in like 25 to 27 hrs. I do hope to see more!

A delightful throwback to the golden age of the Time Management game

Amy’s Greenmart takes on a Time Management format that is rarely seen in today’s casual games world, one that reminisces classic hits such as the Dash series. However, I sincerely enjoy the little relatable details of how a elderly who need assistant in seeking certain products or a celebrity who is too cool to shop by themselves, and even helping the mothers who are separated from her child during the shopping.

Delicious - Emily’s New Beginning

Delicious - Emily’s New Beginning

I love Gamehouse time management games and this is definitely my second favourite Delicious game, after Emily’s Childhood Memories, seeing Emily grow with her new baby and the tension between following her restuarant dream and her family dream. Not to mention Paige is adorable, though her mechanics in game can be good at throwing me off my groove. I like the mechanic idea of changing the menu in response to different customer rates but I can see why it was dropped after this game. With the other mechanics, it’s your typical fine tuned Emily game, responsive and easy to get into, hard to master. Overall it’s really good. 5/5

Pretty good installment for the Delicious games. This dev never fails to give us a pretty decent story, although the ending was a bit sad for me (I don’t know what else I expected given the title). The graphics are always great with these games. My only complaint is that there’s a strange bug with the game where it doesn’t like the task bar in places other than the bottom of the screen. I know, not a very big deal, but I usually have my task bar on the right side of my screen and it took me awhile to realize that it was the task bar’s location that was causing an error (game refuses to open and says “Failed to create a DirectX device. [13].").

Leave!

Leave!

This a VR Horror game in which you get full control of where you move and need to collect lost eyeballs of those who traversed this forest before you.

You are a detective who follows missing person cases and it seems entering this forest was a big mistake as you are locked inside with no escape unless you collect what is needed of the victims to leave this landscape.

Viking Brothers 2

Viking Brothers 2

Relaxing and pretty easy time management games with cute graphics! All the achievements were easily doable to get all 100%. I got three stars on the 50 levels except 2 but you only need to get 30 levels with 3 stars to get that achievement. Over all a pretty fun game!

Real player with 20.1 hrs in game

Well, yeah I guess there’s some fun here. Some levels are horribly unbalanced, so don’t expect 3 stars on every stage. But overall, if you’re tired and just want to play something to chill out, this is surprisingly cathartic.
