Murder Diaries 3 - Santa’s Trail of Blood
Experience the Murder Diaries
In this game you abstractly follow the narration of a young man who slowly but surely becomes insane.
This leads you straight into the middle of an exciting murder case and a murder mystery unfolds while you listen to the testimonies of witness, friends and relatives.
The whole game is somewhat Christmas flavored - however, don’t get yourself comfortable, the game not going to give you a nice and warm feeling but rather confront you with a cold and harsh reality as the thrilling storytelling of the game will leave you with a cold shiver down your spine.
The game is a must have for any true fan of thrillers and anyone how enjoys a murder mystery that goes beyond the normal story telling.
How does the gameplay work?
You will play as a free-floating ghost like creature.
Basically, as the soul of someone who is experiencing the story.
You are very small in comparison to the surroundings and can fly freely through the area.
You start by exploring the area and enjoying the feeling of flying as well as the gentle yet mysterious background music.
Soon after starting to explore, you will find the first memory piece.
You can collect the memory pieces to continue with the story and to advance with the overall narration.
The story talks about a young boy, about his live and about how everything changes. It is setup as a thrilling murder mystery and acts as a contrast to the somewhat calm and enjoyable gameplay.
The first levels are quite straight forward but the further you advance the more surreal and abstracted the levels become.
Once you have finished a chapter by collecting all memory pieces and finishing the overall story of a level you will continue into the next chapter.

You know how YouTube makes such a random recommendation and it’s total gold that you wonder where it has been all this time? That’s what Steam did one ordinary day with COLINA Legacy- concocted by an indie team known as Chance6 Studiosof California!
From the trailer & store page it seems the devs hoped for it to come off as a fresh survival horror! Which I was really counting on too as it’s one of my favorite genres and I have not played much recently. Well no more stalling, time to get to the root of it~

Just when you think you’re in for a nice gentle takeoff, you go from 0 to Cthulhu in about 4 seconds.
One minute you’re asleep in the car on the way to grandma’s house; next thing you know, you wake up and everything looks gross, there’s writing on the walls, eerie voices on the radio and a puppet is sitting there trying to look inconspicuous but failing miserably. On the table nearby happens to be an artifact within which are inscribed the ancient glyphs that bind the powers of the elder gods who birthed space and time itself from beyond the void, or something.

I’m going to give my thoughts on the game as a whole and further down there will be a section addressing people who are having a hard time with this game.
The Game
First off, I love the aesthetics of this game. It has a strange, abstract, almost dreamlike feel to it while also having lore that suggests that this is a world with a history. Something I appreciate is that the game is weird, but it doesn’t feel quirky. The stereo has a nice selection of songs that range from chill to unsettling which helps set the mood for both the horror focused levels and the platforming focused levels.

Honestly, this game has so much love and effort put into it. Sure the movement may be a little wonky at times, but it’s a new game and still a little rough around the edges. I highly recommend this if you’re into weird movement mechanics, difficult platforming, and a horror experience that just straight makes my, (and hopefully your) skin crawl.

Alan Wake
Alan is a famous writer of psychological horror books who goes with his wife to vacation in Washington, more precisely in a small town called Bright Falls. In this place the protagonist begins to experience episodes of its last book published and about which he does not remember to have it written. However, all the current events in your life are directly and indirectly related to this book. Here could be a lot more said, however they would be spoilers of the game.
Alan Wake’s graphics are very beautiful, well rendered and polished. The detail levels of various objects are quite high. The light and shadow effects are exceptional and the textures are very well crafted. Details such as the reflections of light over the water and the light of the lantern illuminating the setting or even focusing on objects through a glass are excellent. Undoubtedly graphically the game is very well done. The fictitious and mountainous town of Bright Falls with its native forests, abandoned and old mills, empty houses and sheds made of wood and weathered are exceptionally well portrayed. When you are driving a car, a pick up or a jeep very fast pop-ins are present, but do not even bother.

Alan Wake is a psychothriller game based on supernatural powers. It shows how powerful darkness really is. The game is set in a rural town called Bright Falls in Washington state, USA. Alan Wake is a professional writer from New York City who decides to go on a vacation in a small town. However, his vacation turns into a nightmare as he is attacked by possessed beings known as the Taken. Wake’s wife is apparently kidnapped from their cabin located in a nearby lake, encouraging Wake to look for her in the wilderness. The game is spread across six episodes that feel like a TV show.

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare
_Post Review Update:
To those commenting this was a spin-off, I understand that, but to play this game and understand what is going on, you would have to have played the first Alan Wake. So if basing the difference in game quality alone, that most people would have played the first Alan Wake and would have been expecting the same level of quality.
As always, criticism is welcomed._
### “The first Alan Wake game was like reading a good Stephen King novel, whereas this game feels like watching a bad Stephen King “Made for TV” special”

Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is a nightmare indeed. American citizenship not required. Nor being Alan Wake.
Story
Alan Wake was once a prolific writer now turned author of reality. Trapped in a hostile realm he calls The Dark Place for almost two years. Wake has escaped into the fictional town turned actual location of Night Springs, Arizona; the titular town of a low-budget psychological thriller TV series he once wrote for in his early days. Having lost all contact with his former life; Wake has embarked on a quest to return to his world by using the powers that dwell in The Dark Place that respond to his creativity and rewrite reality. American Nightmare centers on his hunt for his evil doppleganger, the elusive and powerful Mr. Scratch . Mr. Scratch has taken Wake’s identity in the real world, wreaking havoc with murders, maimings, and mind control, but is stuck keeping constant tabs on Wake to ensure he can’t return. Wake has brought with him a weapon; a manuscript that can change the world as he lives it, but the pages have been scattered and he’ll have to track down Mr. Scratch while collecting them to make use of their power. Interesting as this all sounds, the story is short, uneventful, and save for Mr. Scratch’s evil antics; lacks any level of emotional connection.

I bought and played with bias because your trailer looked pretty cheap besides not giving any serious information about the game. Three friends just finished the game, my first impressions are:
1-The graphics are really nice. (1920x1080-medium)
2-The cinematic in the beginning is very good.
3-The sound got stuck in the final cinematic.
4-Artificial intelligence can be developed. (There were occasional hang-ups between my friend and me)
5-The stormy weather was nice.
6- The price is suitable for the game.

Relieve
_We are human beings. Nothing in this world lasts forever.
We are born and we die. We arise from nothing and eventually become nothing.
The interval between these events is our greatest happiness, our paradise on earth._
About project
Relieve - third-person game in genre of action-thriller.
It takes place in a fictional world situated between life and death. This world is called the World of Agony. A man who got there faces an ordeal that may be the last one in his life. The test is that the dying person must light fires and ferry his soul back to the world of the living.
The World of Agony is based on the memories of dying people and therefore looks like the world of the living. But its main differences are often hidden. This world is full of lost souls who could not return, but who also could not finally die. They are prisoners who may be dangerous, but who may need help.
And you can help them gain their freedom. Just as you can help those stranded at the precipice to return home.
About development
The game is currently being developed by a small group of enthusiasts.
The project started in 2016 and has gone through many changes since then. Our group members have grown professionally, but have not abandoned the project, because we are really eager to complete it to share it with the world.
And someday we will definitely finish it, and you will be able to appreciate it.
We also can create Relieve together.

A Night In Berlin
I’ve been trying to figure out what it is about A Night in Berlin that really works on me, because something clearly does. Something made me play through it all in one go, which took hours, and then go into the kitchen for a glass of water, return to my desk, and play through it all over again.
Maybe it’s the fact that I love super-violent action games, because A Night in Berlin is an immaculate super-violent action game. You move through buildings full of angry guys, and each room is like that bit at the end of a Mexican standoff when someone pulls the trigger and everyone dies in a split second: you crash through a door, then sprint six feet to cut a guy’s throat before he can raise his weapon, quickly shoot a bullet backwards as someone bursts through the doorway to investigate the commotion, and then stab at his torso until he falls on the floor. There is no time to think. There is no ‘think’.

A Night in Berlin, a simple but yet hard game to master and complete you WILL rage however this game is worth the time and effort, as simplistic as it may seem it still is a very interesting story. The game takes place in 2024 and you have 3 different characters to play. The first one involves half stealth half non stealth and you can take out your enemies in any way achievable utilizing your gun or knife given thankfully you can resupply your ammo from dead enemies or it can be scattered around the level. The second… well you better make EVERY single shot count, one missed bullet will cost you the level, keep in mind you cannot melee or resupply on ammunition. And last but not least the 3rd and final character has a kung fu like fighting style and he has the ability to slow down time and roll. KEEP IN MIND YOU DIE ANYTIME ON ANY LEVEL YOU NEED TO RESTART THAT LEVEL COMPLETELY!!!
