I didn’t even play this game the right way and I am enjoying myself so far. You play as a gsd who is the best doggo ever, and therefore blessed by the gods with infinite run. You run across plains and through fields of ferns and flowers. You run along mountain ridges. You run.

This was honestly super relaxing! Also, there are mazes and actual gameplay to get to, but I just collected whatever I felt like along the way. I got it on sale for .49 cents USD, and I’m honestly happy to have taken a chance on this hidden gem.

This game is fun, HOWEVER it is hair-pulling levels of frustrating. The physics is god-awful sometimes, half of the vehicle unlocks suck, multiple game crashes that delete game data, killing hours of progression, and level upgrades are all trash except for the rope.

Things that pis$ed me off especially…

1. The trailer upgrade bugging out and sending all my nicely stacked items flying.

2. Hopping curbs and having all my items ping off. It’s 50/50 whether or not a curb with make you bounce :(

3. The last car unlock, the truck with bed, is horrible. Sure you can carry tons of stuff, but only while going 5 mph, so your worthless breaks don’t get you killed.

I genuinely enjoyed the first 30 levels of the game. The puzzles are good and there’s a decent amount of variety considering how “modular” the maps are - they all use the same obstacles and props. However, after level 30 the game hit a brick wall when it introduced boats. I played a few levels past ### 30 and just put the game down.

The car variety is pretty good, although there’s only a few to choose from. My personal favourite is the Ute.

There’s no damage model on cars - you just bonk into everything. Certain furniture items will break into pieces or get dented up. If you like those weird “oddly satisfying” videos all over the internet you’ll probably enjoy crashing a truck full of potted plants into a speeding train.

Dialogue Box: The Road Less Traveled

Dialogue Box: The Road Less Traveled

The choices are simple, picking is hard.

In “Dialogue Box: The road less traveled”, you will navigate a whimsical landscape while failing to keep your sanity.

The controls are extremely unintuitive and the humor is cheesy to a fault.

I am a great salesman.

  • Original physics-based challenges

  • Dynamic story that adapts to your actions and choices

  • Secrets with extra challenges for the completionists at heart

  • Minimalistic yet charming visual style

  • Way too many endings

  • Puns

I hope you won’t hate me by the time you get to the other side.

Have fun! TomerSSH.

Space Hole 2016

Space Hole 2016

(EDIT: 9/4/16. This physically challenged gamer has, in under 2 days, overcome 54 of Space Hole’s challenges, most of which I would have considered impossible (for me, difficult for anyone.) This amazing DEV has made the seemingly impossible into the delightfully likely, with the most rewarding of efforts.)

(EDIT: 9/5/16. One complaint with SPace Hole may be the lack of leaderboards, but Space Hole has what may be better. After attempting to win a level throught the standard method (but if still failing) there is a “trick” built into Space Hole to simplify many levels. And if that technique still fails (no doubt for many capable players), there’s a second “trick” that basically turns skills near impossible to master for many players, into trial and error for many of the most difficult levels. So the game is still most fun at its most difficult, but a less than master-level player can still use challenging features of the game to continue toward full game completion. A very thoughtful, very interesting, very inclusive method of progression.)

This game was challenging, to say the least. It took me approximatley 8 hours to beat the game and get the achievement. Something about beating this game is so satisfying, and it really makes you feel accomplished in the end. The developer is also very active with the community. (Check the discussions for the game, he replies and helps people out a lot.) I would recommend this game any day, especially considering it’s only $1. I would probably still get this game and like it just as much if it was $5. So what are you waiting for?

The Ultimate Game

The Ultimate Game

Definitely a work in progress but the developer is very active and the discord allows you to recommend features and report bugs easily. Certainly feels like a game of ultimate and whilst the visuals aren’t super smooth yet, the physics and functionality of it are there. It helps if you know the game or have played it before, but you can certainly still enjoy it if you haven’t.

Whether you play Ultimate or not this game is a must try.

You get the same feeling in the game as you do watching a disc fly irl and the thrill from performing a good throw is nearly as good. The throwing mechanics are the best thing about this game for me as they are not impossible but have a large enough learning curve to be super rewarding when performed well.

First day of early access and already the single player gameplay is very good and no doubt the dev is still making changes to the AI.

How does it work!?

How does it work!?

Though it may be inspired by “The Incredible Machine,” this physics-based puzzler is nothing but incredibly lazy. Besides unpredictable behavior, inability to move placed parts, and the lack of any sort of written explanations, the developer clearly didn’t even bother to test his own game: Stages 15 & 17 have offscreen areas that are mandatory for completion, yet there’s no way to reach them. The game cannot be completed in its current state.

From the beginning, you have access to all of the game’s twenty-something stages, each with a certain task to perform. It might be getting a ball to a checkered zone, popping a balloon, or breaking a box. The tools you’re given have a significant variety, like planks, fans, batteries, power strips, motors, and spinners. It’s all pretty simple, and even without explanation it’s possible to work out what needs to be done.

Real player with 2.1 hrs in game

This is one of those games where the title is entirely appropriate-just not in the way the developers intended. You will find yourself yelling at the screen, “OKAY! HOW THE F__K DOES IT WORK???” Not because the puzzle is hard per se, but because there is ZERO explanation of how the various components work, leaving you to figure that out through trial and error. Here’s a hint: holding down the ‘ctrl’ key is usually what you’re looking for. The next HUGELY ANNOYING feature is that once a component is placed IT IS FORBIDDEN TO MOVE IT! Violators will be shipped off to a Gulag in Siberia where they are unaware that the USSR no longer exists. I’m kidding (I hope). It isn’t forbidden, it’s just impossible. Which means that, having spent ten minutes setting up an elaborate device and placing all the components you place the very last of 37 different parts-and discover it’s just a bit shy of where it needs to be. Which means that, since it can’t be moved, you have to START ALL THE F__K OVER AGAIN! AND AGAIN AND AGAIN, ad infinitum.
