Armored Fist 3
Español and English
One of the few tank games in steam, it has a lot of missions (52), its fun and easy to play, however you will need a little of practice, because even if there is auto aim, you will need to aim manually sometimes.
It works perfectly in Windows 8.1 64x
De los pocos juegos de tanques en Steam, tiene muchas misiones (52 en total), es entretenido, y facil de jugar aunque requerira algo de practica, pues aunque tiene target locking automatico en algunas ocasiones tendras que apuntar manualmente.

Garbage, buggy, this is the worst simulation game of all Novalogic series (even worse than DFX and DFX2).
Let me explain why:
1. Sometimes I have destroyed all enemy targets but still couldn’t complete the mission. You can’t see any mission goal in the game.
2. The game is not friendly to manually control. And the auto-aiming function is a completely garbage. For example: There has a T-72 in front of me. But auto-aiming system couldn’t find it! Then I was blew up by the enemy…
3. Can you believe that an old T-55 can use it’s main cannon to destroy the most advanced M1 tank? It occurs in this game.

Tank: M1A1 Abrams Battle Simulation
Although Microprose’s M1 Tank Platoon is more well known from the era that this game came out in -1989, Tank is probably a more realistic simulation. This game is like a very early Steel Beasts, and even has recon drones. A lot of strategic and tactical options and enemy units positions are not always the same every time. The animations for gun fire and hitting tanks are great - can take a number hits to kill a tank and see its turret fly off.
M1 Tank Platoon is a fantastic game but so is this one - very underrated

So… why don’t you own it yet? It’s awesome! You can control up to 4 platoons of tanks, (up to 16 tanks) and unlike the name would imply, you not only control M1A1’s, but also M1 and M1A2 Abrmas tanks, (of course the only real difference is the gun) and the game gives you the ability to swap between the gunner, driver, and commander at will. You can also use CAS and Artillery strikes to neutralize the enemy if you want to be more passive with your tanks. There are 3 theaters for you to fight in, Fort Knox, Central Europe, and The Middle East, all with their own set of missions. (you can swap between theaters by pressing the “Fort Knox” icon in the main menu, pressing it will cycle through the theaters.) Overall the game is easy to pick up and play once you know the controls, and the enemy AI at its lowest difficulty is very forgiving, making this game very friendly to beginners. My only gripe is the graphics are horrible. I mean really bad. But thats something that comes with the age of the game, and it really doesn’t detract from the experience. Super fun with a joystick as well. (little tip, use low joystick sensitivity)

Iron Warriors: T - 72 Tank Command
Okay, I decied to write a short review on this game.
Currently the game is only 1,24 Euro, and after a few days the game goes back to its original 5 E.
I’m writing this down because the price is definitely a big plus. As of the game itself, you will probably like it if you’re into tanks and/or simulators. I am. Overall, I am quite pleased with the game. However, this is heavily influenced by its price. For 1,2 Euro, it’s a great deal. For 5 Euro, I’m not really sure. You decide.
Pros:
+Terrain can be deformed (craters after explosions, you can dig tank trenches [UBER COOL] etc)

Bought this game just to write a review. I am a veteran of this game. It was my first shooter. If i can remember correctly i got this game near the end of 2005/begining of 2006. The name was still T-72 Balkans on Fire.
I could master this game 11/12 years ago, I was a little kid back then. Because of this game i’ve started loving the tanks. I have played WoT, WarThunder and other games with tanks. But those arent real. You just move with WASD, and usually you just shoot where your mouse is.
Here, you have 4 types of shells - BPS (armor piercing), OFS (fragmentation shell), BKS (High explosive) and UR (Guided missile).

Panzer Elite Action Gold Edition
It took 13 years, but someone finally oiled the damn tank treads!
Yeah, give or take it’s been over a decade since I first played this game, albeit under questionably ethical means due to me being a broke teenager, I have to say it was refreshingly nostalgic to play this game with the right fixes( hell, even the invisible Tiger turrets got fixed)! But does this arcadey tank Simulation (and I say that with massive air-quotes) still stand the test of time or am I just looking at this with massive rose-tinted glasses?

This is a set that contains both Panzer Elite Action-Fields of Glory and its expansion,Dunes of War. The game isn’t too bad and seeing as you get both the game and its expansion there isn’t much to complain about regarding the cost. There is three factions in the main game, Soviets,Americans, and Germans. There isn’t THAT much tank diversity and a lot of the models are pretty shitty looking. The game’s graphics serve their purpose but are by no means great. The Tiger tank models, for example, are abysmal. The turret on the tigers isn’t even there. This is a pretty noticable problem seeing as you will be fighting a LOT of these and in one mission you play as one. Also, the tank treads are not even animated. They’re static textures. One thing this game does incredibly well, however, is the environments. You fight in a multitude of battlegrounds such as invading the dunes of Africa all the way to helping out the 101st in Bastogne. The AI is abysmal. The friendly tanks will just run into you and,on occasion, shoot you in the back. The enemy AI will sometimes just sit there as you obliterate them. Another problem is the tank handling. The tanks handle like Go-Karts. You may be trying to round a corner and then all the sudden you flip over. The voice acting is suprisingly good. There is absolutely no strategy involved in the game. The battles are just a rush for the repair station and then you deal with the enemies. You are able to use commands and order friendly tanks around. However, these are never very well explained even in the manual.

Steel Armor: Blaze of War
First off.. I am biased. But I am going to give a bit O brutal review. Not really that brutal.
1st off. This is a “remastered” SABOW that was released back in 2011. It had a borked release with publishers that where borderline stupid. The game was released in a state with game braking bugs. This had nothing to do with the dev. In fact they released a series of unofficial patches to fix the issues. They however, where not allowed to officially fix the game. However, the rights just returned to the dev’s. Where all that unofficial content was made official and many fixes and improvements where added in.

An unmatched level of detail in simulation, with sometimes odd AI behavior being near its single downfall. Gameplay is generally excellent and the interiors/systems modeling of the T-62 which I use near exclusively is actually superior to Steel Beasts as it stands right now. Small details like dust kicked up by the cannon (major factor in desert environments, where the game is mostly set) and the animation of the 115mm’s ejection sequence are what bring this game the extra mile.
I can only really field 4 complaints about this game, total- especially considering its age and price point

Tank Mechanic Simulator
So let’s start off by saying that yes. I do play this game a lot. I’ve played it quite a bit in fact. But can I recommend it? Ehhhhh…. no.
See, the developers have made a great system for this sort of game. I wish more games would use it. It’s a bit unrealistic, but that’s honestly okay, it plays well with it. I have to give them props for that.
However.
What I can’t give them props for is quality assurance, general professionalism(There was a major content delay because they forgot to fork their build. FORGOT. And overwrote their work), and what appears to be a roadmap designed for maximizing profit, rather than fixing the countless issues that still persist with the game.

I really, really, really like the game. BUT, I just wanna take a little walk through and talk about what’s going on in the game.
They’re doing good work, making updates regularly and keeping people up to date with what’s happening in the development cycle. The thing that really sets me off with the current game is that they’re already trying to push DLC. I understand that they want to make money, but at the same time the base game needs to be in a more acceptable state before they should try to push for DLC’s. There are a lot of issues within the base game that need to be addressed such as, Performance within the garage itself can get pretty rough, especially if you have multiple project vehicles in at the same time(Keep in mind my computer isn’t a slouch by any means, AMD 5800x processor, 16gigs of Crucial Ballistix’s 3600Mhz ram, and an rtx2060, granted not the highest end pc in the world.), the menus are pretty clunky and need to be reworked into a more user friendly state. Tank extractions can be frustrating between not being able to find the vehicle through the basic means the game starts you off with and occasionally you aren’t able to extract the vehicle at all. The maintenance system has gotten better, but it needs a lot of work, the system needs to be streamlined and ease of access while putting tanks together needs to be more comfortable to work with instead of awkwardly clicking around on the screen trying to access certain parts. Some tank models being reworked have been worked on for what feels like months without any update to them in the live version of the game, but they’re working on new models instead.

Battle Command
Before 1990, if you wanted to control an assault tank you either had to sign up to Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, or settle for the basic side-on or top-down computer graphics of the day.
Then there was Battle Command.
The game sees you take command of a futuristic assault tank, dropped by Helicarrier right into the middle of the action on the battlefield. While many other 3D efforts of the time resulted in confusing wireframes or framerates measured in spf instead of fps, Battle Command’s fully-filled polygons were a breath of fresh air… until that air was filled with the acrid smoke from the burning wrecks of enemy buildings and vehicles!
With multiple camera views allowing the player to sit in the belly of the beast or to see the action from a third-person perspective – a real innovation at the time – this much-loved ‘command’ game focused more on outright fighting that the strategic elements of similar titles. Yet it was not all simply ready-aim-fire; the player still has to equip the most suitable ammunition to satisfactorily complete each one of the exciting and varied missions.
According to the original box art:
_Set in the near future of an alternative reality, Battle Command is an arcade/strategy game in which the player controls a single ‘Mauler’ Assault Tank in one of sixteen scenarios in the ultra-war, fought between two dominant races in the New World. The latest phase of this north/south war has been going on for over ten years with a stalemate eventually developing – a stand-off between armies massed over a long dug-in battle front.
Such are the defensive capabilities of each side, full scale assaults are suicidal, so any offensive moves are, by necessity, small behind-the-lines actions performed by elite troops in specially designed vehicles. The Mauler is the latest such machine – capable of being lifted in and out of hostile territory by fast stealth choppers and armed with the most advanced weaponry the northern sides can devise.
