Bandits
I grabbed this game during the Steam Winter sale of 2020. For the sale price, i have to say it is a lot better quality than most of the games at the same price point from what i saw. While the game is built around local or remote play PVP versus mode, it also has a fun 16 level single player story mode. Each of the tanks you can play as all have their own unique feel and play style with pickups in game any tank can use. The game has a slight difficulty curve which is challenge while still being an engaging experience. What really stood out to me the most was the level design. Every level contains destructible environment elements to use to your advantage. All of the level have their own unique play style, adding variety to the gameplay. For the campaign all the maps available have their own unique challenges, which i would love to see added to a versus mode in the future. For example, the racing or more tower defense style defend modes with players switching sides. The game reminds me of a classic play style of Blastcorp and Blaster Master. I look really forward to seeing what future potential this game has. There is a lot this game could do to become an even greater and more engaging game. Mainly online net code that is not steam remote play dependent. I would love to see more stuff for the humans to do before getting their tank such as repairing the tank or acquiring some mission item. This could include stealth or gun play which would make the game have more depth along with building character story. If you want a fun casual couch co-op game to play with up to four people this is defiantly a potential buy for you. Even if you just plan to play the single player mode the game is very enjoyable.

I really liked the style and it’s very fun to play, specially if you can gather 3 more ppl, battle royales are chaotic in the way you want them to be.

Flank That Tank!
A nice and fun little game that doesn’t seem to get any attention at all and it certainly deserves at least some.
Pros:
-
Surprisingly good keyboard controls for 360 degree back/forward movement.
-
Agressive AI with bullets flying fast enough you actually have to think before you’ve been shot at.
-
Destructible environment is fun in any game, and when it involves tanks even more so.
-
Five difficulty levels that actually significantly impact difficulty, so more replayability.

If u miss games like Vyruz: Destruction of the Untel Empire, this might rub the right place. More development and it will be fine.

Dieselpunk Wars
I think I am the player who has been playing this game for the longest time ever (most of them spent on building stuff in creative), and I did enjoy it and had high hopes. But still…
Abandonware
Several serious bugs exist, including one that makes airships pretty much unplayable.
The Devs have been informed of those bugs for months but no action was ever taken.
They also stated on Discord that the May update is going to be the last update, so consider it officially abandoned.
Severe Lack of Content

A very good game.
Important notes:
Movement:
Movement on the ground for wheeled/tracked vehicles is generally pretty good, the only issue i tend to have is the velocity being canceled completely by trees/random geometry such as rocks. Movement also feels very slow/tanky however i think that fits the game just fine. Sea/Air movement works perfectly well, though i couldn’t get a walker to work.
Building/UI/Keybinding:
I have a few nitpicks about it, namely with not enough keybinds/options for keybinds in the building menu, and not being able to press esc to exit out of some menu prompts. There are some bugs here, as you might guess from an early access game, but aside from the occasional incorrect mirroring, it works just fine.

Tank Destroyer
Well I have had this game for ages but I play it on and off. Every time I go on the game, I tell myself to play for 5 or 10 minutes but I realise that I spent 30 minutes to a hour playing the game. The game basic and easy to learn but hard to master. The tanks you go against are more powerful than you and you never really know where the tanks are because you don@t see the full level. In the end I find this a good game and I wish it would be updated

For those who dont like to read: It is fun and worth the 0.99€ in my opinion.
But i wish this was a higher priced early access title.
Right now there are 20 levels with 3 different enemy types.
And while it is indeed fun it is also quite short.
According to steam i spent 31 minutes in the game and that includes launcher, menu, etc.
(I have finished it)
I just wish there was more to it.
-
More enemies
-
Different Terrain types that make your tank slower / faster / hard to see / etc.
-
Destroyable walls (Not everywhere ofc)

Bought this game today since it was on sale, and for 8 pounds it’s pretty damn cheap. Was a big fan of the top down tank game on the old TV consoles (can’t remember name lol) so this game sure brings back memories. Gonna try and give a list of pro’s and con’s for the game so you know what you get. I’ve played it for an hour so far, and played quite a lot of stages so I think I’ve got a good idea so far. Also I’ve played it with an Xbox controller if it makes any difference. Didn’t try it with keyboard and mouse.

City Siege: Faction Island
The intro song is very cool, that’s one thing that this game has going for itself. The game itself is a fairly simple 2D shooter game with some strategic and platformer action in it, making it a very nice and enjoyable combo game.
The game really is quite fun to play with a lot of destructive elements for you to enjoy and experience. Your units can be upgraded making them better and stronger to use. The game has a combo system that really enhances the experience of the game, last but not least, the physics behind the game is really amazing , for the price you really get an amazing little gem here, this game is really worth a shot.

Furious Angels
FA is a minimalistic, short and sweet arcade dogfighting shooter that is so much more than what you may think. Somewhat easy to get into, surprisingly hard to master.
Gameplay
Furious Angels (FA in short) is all about… blowing stuff up. While trying not to die. All while babysitting the helpless mothership. And of course, get a good looking score. Oh, and there’s no campaign, no story, no upgrade grinding. Only explosions. And scores.
Your goal - face the endless hordes of enemies that want you and your mothership dead. Losing either is a Game Over. Stay alive as long as you can, get that big big combo, but your fate is sealed before it all begins. You’ll lose. As for how, it’s up to you to decide.

I don’t write many Reviews.
I think most Games do not deserve, or need my opinion.
And I usually don’t feel well as an advertisement writer.
But this one game is different. For me, this is a hidden Gem.
This is the only game i play everyday for 5-10 minutes. Since more then a Year.
No other game got me hooked like this. I think I can say I like it a bit.
Maybe it is just a me-thing. Maybe it appeals just to my personal taste.
It is arcade-y, and in a way that makes it great … I love the Explosions.
