Poker Squadrons Great unique combination of poker and WWII history. You only have to understand poker hand rankings (this isnât Texas Hold âem) and appreciate the Battle of Britain. Interestingly, there isnât a an AI level setting (e.g. beginner, intermediate, expert) and itâs not necessary since the randomness of the cards dealt combined with AI provide a nice challenge. You can play for 5-10 minutes or 60 minutes easily. Graphics are good but itâs really all about the cards....
Over the Alps Over the Alps is a spy story that takes place as tensions escalate into World War II as told through a choose-your-adventure featuring choices that feature personality and character traits of your protagonist. The scenery is designed after postcards of the Swiss Alps and are remarkable. As any choose-your-adventure story goes, the writing is the most important, and playing through, you can tell that the story is crafted in detail and is quite funny to read through....
War Mines: WW2 Looks fantastic and is entertaining at the same price as a cup of coffee. However, soon it just became a frustrating exercise in random luck when first released. Shame as potential for a top notch game was all here. The Devs are responsive though and after some tweaks it is much more balanced and less of a lottery which it was when first released. Great idea and improving execution in the actual gameplay which initially the pretty graphics couldnât disguise....

RAID: World War II IN A WORD: MAYBE IN SHORT: WHAT TO EXPECT: Payday meets World War 2. Solo and coop stealth or combat gameplay. Objective oriented maps. Immersive WW2 atmosphere. Authetic looking setting and locations. Steam inventory mission cards. Good range of maps, weapons and playable characters. Good character customization. Very good writing and voiceovers. Minor base and cosmetic upgrades. Average AI. Fairly balanced gameplay. More enemy types would have been nice....
Alekhineâs Gun Alekhine. One of the greatest chess champions. Not only for his timeline but for the whole history of known chess players. He was eager for finding smart, precise moves, he was rather an attacking side even in his defensive schemes. So, it is actually a cool name for a Hitman-like spy operative, whoâs supposed to very selective and cautious in his covert work of dispatching enemies and revealing their secret plans....

Diorama Builder What a lovely game! It is beautifully designed and wonderful to play. For an early access game, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the game flowed⊠no bugs at all⊠and I am looking forward for more content! Another great tool in the game is their hint system⊠they call it a âmeshâ where it can help you locate where the pieces go⊠but it gives you three views of the mesh⊠None, level only, and the entire level....
Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich The Freedom Force games are a must play for anyone who enjoys superhero games. Gameinformer ranked Freedom Force in itâs top ten superhero games of all time. Freedom Force vs. The Third Reich builds upon the mechanics introduced in the original game, and adds a brilliant new layer to the story. Established characters are developed further than in the previous game, and the balance between old characters and new ones is kept marvelously, especially when in WWII....
Trouble Hunter Chronicles: The Stolen Creed Iskonsko Studio has put a lot of hard work into this indie gem and it really shows!
From the starting scene I was instantly hooked and wanted to keep playing to find out how the story unfolded. Thereâs a lot of puzzles to solve and most of the characters in the game are voiced which I think adds a lot to the immersion.
Donât be fooled by the demo....
