Binary Domain Binary Domain was yet another part of a (free) bundle given away by SEGA, featuring mediocre games mainly. When I started playing it, I was expecting an average shooter (the reviews didn’t provide much clue). What I got was an absolutely positive surprise in all aspects. But I’m not explaining this fact that I liked this game so much with the element of surprise: I wish every overhyped AAA game could provide as much fun as Binary Domain did....

One Hand Clapping This game is super neat, especially if you already have a vocal background. It could get frustrating otherwise, as you will be asked to match pitch and harmonize. There’s also some rhythm elements, so having a sense for that will also help. The sound design is lush and gives many clues. It takes the sounds that you’re producing and incorporates them into the game as you go, resulting in even richer soundscapes....

SoundSelf: A Technodelic tl;DR: I am genuinely amazed at how effective this “game” is at its stated goal of inducing transcendental states of consciousness. Was skeptical, but then profoundly amazed. Literally helped transform my consciousness. (More on what that even f***ing means down below.) It can have the same sort of power (and therefore danger) as psychedelics, be careful. Lay down or get a neck pillow with a HMD. I have a lot of experience with meditation, hypnosis, LSD, mindfulness, and healing complex PTSD, so I did have some background in mental restructuring before going in....

SpaBerry VR Experience This might still be the first and only hot tub VR experience. It’s not very stimulating. I enjoy a hot tub, don’t remember the last time I tried it. I’m also concious of how somewhat kinda sort gross they are. It’s like a bacteria stew or something. ! Also, you all pee in the pool and the shower and hot tubs so you can’t buy one from our friends at SpaBerry, not until you clean up your dingleberries....

VoiceAttack This is a steal and the feature list is “What Doesn’t It Do?” Aside from making custom voice commands quickly and making or downloading a Star Trek-style fake AI for spaceship games, this darn thing comes with a full C### editor and compiler so you can program it to do ANYTHING. The UI is mouse-driven menu-based visual coding of programs or macros that can be triggered by any combination of voice, mouse, keyboard or controller inputs… including combos to get many many commands from few keys…...
