Zombie Vikings Only 6.1% of players have completed this game, and there are reasons for that. While this review is ultimately negative, it definitely qualifies as one of those mid-line negatives. Tribes of Midgard This is a challenging game, made fun with a group of friends. Though even then it is a bit of a slog, as it implies 10 people need to online at the same time for hours on end to achieve a common goal. You find that perfect zone and boom, suddenly the entire time you are jamming with friends and working through the various quests. I will say that the game is not without its faults....
Hammerheart Great start to an early access game! The combat is fluid and exciting, and your tactical decisions make all the difference. I especially appreciate the research and effort into providing a historically accurate experience, all around (finally, Vikings done right!). The devs are very responsive to feedback, and have already implemented a couple of suggestions I had. The amount of content is pretty meager at the moment, but that is expected as the game is still very early in development, AFAIK....
Tiny Force Deluxe Played a couple hours and noticed a bit of a bug, all the characters were unlocked from the start, already i have the achievments for unlocking all the characters but not the one for my first new character. This I am assuming is making it a lot easier than it is supposed to be and also takes the fun out of it as there is nothing to work through the levels for....
Cultures - 8th Wonder of the World It’s still addictive as Northland; but it’s a step down. The UI is worse, you can’t “give extras to everyone” anymore; instead the game only lets you toggle a switch for giving equipment to new civilians. The weaksauce carrying/merchantry system is not improved one bit; workers lose their carriages the moment you right-click somewhere, there is no easy way to stop unload orders and you gotta micromanage all carrying processes etc....
The Frostrune The Frostrune is an elegant point-and-click adventure, with strong, authentic Norse culture. The story is set in and around an abandonned, coastal hamlet. The environment feels great. I used to live in Norway, and could see the familiar lighting and landscape features in the portrayal in the game). The hand-drawn art style is consistent and rich - a quick look at the trailer on the Steam Store page will give you a feel for it....
VALHALL: Harbinger - Pre-Beta Testing My brother seems to like the game hes played quite a bit, I personally didn’t see much to it in the current state. I don’t really like how the bots fly around when getting hit, I thought it would be more realistic. I’ve backed this game up since around the start so I’ll give a good review to support it further, because I saw your announcement from today clearing up some things....
