Cashtronauts A compulsive twin stick asteroid-mining rogue-like set in procedurally generated space with a brilliant “risk” system where at the start of the game, you can choose to enable any or all of 10 different scenarios to make the game more difficult in return for a higher percentage of profit. One risk makes your armour weak so only one hit can be taken. Another adds gold to some asteroids but also adds competition in the form of big mining ships....
HyperParasite Been following this game since it was first showcased at Milan Games Week back in 2018. All I can say is…WOW. The game was very different back then, now it feels and play really smooth and polished for an Early Access game. I’m a sucker for everything 80s, and this game has it all: tons of cameos/references/quotes from 80s movies, cartoons and games, a very cool synthwave OST and a great atmosphere....

Apparently most people have been completing it in 2-3 hours but I’m 3 hours in and only 1/2-2/3 through the game. Gameplay is simple but a little unusual (in a good way). Really have a lot of fun with it! The best way I can describe this is as a “top down metroidvania” with bullet hell elements....

Nebula Within A life philosophy ruminating, fast-paced, geometric twin stick shooter made by the human, Nick Oueijan. Allow me to maybe put it a bit differently, one man’s escape from the black hole life tends to create for a lot of us at some point and a vessel that helped him break free from his own personal one. Despite only using geometry shapes, the game’s visuals are very well done. Sharp, colourful geometry on a black background with tiny white, swirling stars makes for some good contrast and individual shapes stand out nicely....
