On one hand, it’s an extremely fun game to sink a lot of time into. On the other hand, it’s basically a re-release of a game, not a remaster. The game itself when it was released in 2010 was really fun. Mini Countries Surprising I stumbled upon this page by going down a rabbit hole looking for a puzzle game that could entertain me without requiring me to spend most of my time trying to figure out the puzzle/strategy in order for me to complete it. Soko Loco Deluxe I’ve looked at quite a bit of the games that sok pop has put out, but I think this one gives you the most bang for your buck. If you really enjoyed messing around with toy trains as a kid or like a simplistic resource manager time waster I think this game is good for you. Several levels, difficult challenge modes that force you to understand all of the games mechanics....

Synthwave Dream ‘85 Yo, I don’t know why I like this game. I really do. If more things meld towards my interests, i.e. online multiplayer with VAC support, trading cards, some sort of digital storage space for multiple vehicles… There’s a heavy emphasis on going high speed & listening to loud music, which I think misses the point of modern capabilities in its search to be a retroactively retro hit. Y’know?...

NewCity 11/25/2020 update: Hey look I used the edit button! The performance updates have significantly improved performance. Doing CCullingAlgo 1 appears to help, but also causes the rendering of the tiles to be a little wonky when you zoom in. Setting it to CCullingAlgo 2 appears to just cause the game to crash for some reason. With the largest map setting (125x125) and a population of around 600k I have still been unable to get the game to run at max speed consistently and will typically cap out at speed....

Freelance Trucker: Insurance Fraud Edition Neat little game to waste some time, I enjoyed causing some mayhem and trying to survive until the goal (it’s not always that easy).
