Best 1980s Touch-Friendly Games on PC

Hack Grid Full disclosure: I was a playtester for this game. In Hack Grid each level has a different setup of pieces and trails within a 4x4 grid (sometimes it’s smaller). In order to move a piece, it must have a straight line of trails or empty sockets leading to a differently colored piece. What makes the grids interesting is not only the different setups of pieces, but also the way the trails connect between them; It varies from level to level, and sometimes the lack of a direct trail between two pieces can trip you up, if you are not paying enough attention to the trails....

Best 3D Platformer Touch-Friendly Games on PC

Unlock The Cat Unlock The Cat is a fun sliding puzzle game with simple yet charming backgrounds and an adorable animated kitten that you have to guide through 40 levels of increasing difficulty. The first 15 levels are easy to moderate, levels 16-30 are moderate to difficult, levels 31-35 are challenging and the last five levels are diabolical. It took me roughly 7 hours to play through the whole game, with about half of that time on the last 3 puzzles alone....

Best 4 Player Local Touch-Friendly Games on PC

12 orbits Wow. Wow, wow, wow. For this price, I have never played a game with this much quality. The 3D graphics are stunning and are sometimes not seen in games worth $5 or more. Again, the game is worth buying just for its quality. Not to mention the control screen is as easy as pressing a button. The game is as simple as that, too! However, we haven’t even gotten to the actual game yet....

Best Action Roguelike Touch-Friendly Games on PC

Bad North: Jotunn Edition I’ve heard some negative criticism and some positives about the game and I really want to voice my opinion on this game because I feel like the devs have something really REALLY special here, it’s absolutely worth your time even if you may not get a lot of mileage out of it. Bad North is a deliberately paced game broken up in to two segments. The action phase of the game takes place on the many procedurally generated islands in the game, you choose which commanders to bring (this usually boils down to the same 4 commanders you’ve sunk all your coins in to, unless you’re going for a specific achievement) and then ships with various viking troops slowly sail towards the shores....

Best Action Touch-Friendly Games on PC

Ellipsis Ellipsis was quite a delightful surprise for me. I recieved it as part of a Humble Freedom Bundle (Feb 2017) and having played it I can say it is definately worth purchasing on it’s own. It’s an arcade style game that has over 150ish levels where you collect five orbs while avoiding traps and enemies. Blue good, red bad. The universe which you play through is interesting throughout, and the difficulty slowly increases always keeping you on your toes, but never making you want to bang your head on your desk....

Best Action-Adventure Touch-Friendly Games on PC

Lil Big Invasion Awesome indie game with way enough content to fit the bill. Its kinda like Pikmin except they are trapped in dungeons and you must find and rescue them. Really loved the sound and the art-style. Dungeons are getting way harder and better later on and the boss fights are fun. It took me some time to get used to the controls tho. Exploration is great IF you figure out how the moths and the worms do work… which is not part of the tutorial :/...

The Escaper This was my first Escape Room game, and honestly I only played it because I got it through my curator. It was surprisingly fun, though, at least with the timer turned off. I would have failed badly and gotten very stressed if I’d only had one hour per room… I found the puzzles overall cool and very satisfying to solve. Most of them seemed fair and pretty logical to me even when they took me a while to figure out....
