Brass: Birmingham I love Brass Birmingham (The Boardgame) and reviewing an Early Access game is somewhat unfair - I based my review on both that it is Early Access and the actual gameplay experience. 1. The AI gameplay is rubbish right now and is far from developed - far too easy (even on the expert level) and predictable - Maybe it is good for beginners to learn the mechanics of the game (I canāt really know since iāve played 20 + times)...
Bomb Bowling 2 You know what? This is a solid little action-puzzle game. Itās nothing fancy, but it has 50 levels and a decent challenge level throughout (once you get past those first 3-4 tutorial-skill levels). Itās made in GameMaker (just a hint, dev, change up your icon next time ;) ), but is proof that you can turn out a good game with that engine if you put effort into your game and arenāt just doing some lazy template-flip....
Crazy Kung Fu Crazy Kung Fu This game made me feel like I was the Karate Kid, except, instead of a real old man making me wax his car I was given a cardboard cut-out of an old man. Not that thatās a bad thing, naturally. I donāt particularly want an old man watching me work up a sweat, but I would have liked him to perhaps throw some guidance my way on how I can improve rather than waiting for the end of the match....
Bulkhead An interesting spin on the TD-fps genre. The gameplay will keep you on your toes, and the artstyle, effects, and theming are consistent and quite good. Itās definitely an indie game, and there are a few rough spots here and there, e.g. the controls, tower placement, metal beam in the HUD, etc. That being said, the game was fun. Side note, the current build is near-impossible. The groups of big bois are brutal and the titans are broken....

Chess Evolved Online The developer is clearly insane, and there are numerous horrific flaws that I assume will never be fixed ever. Candy Disaster - Tower Defense As a tower defense game, itās not very solid. You can run identical loadouts and get a different result every time due to the 3D layout and random monster movements. The game balancing needs a lot of work. Iāve played a bunch of TD games but, for the life of me, I canāt get past a level (2-08) on the easiest setting. The audio balance is pretty terrible....

The graphics are cute in cartoon style, and the third-person visibility, so you always see where you are moving, thereās no danger of getting stuck with your avatar.
