Speed Brawl Speed Brawl is one of those games that I’m not really sure of how it ended up in my library. Must’ve been something like a Humble Bundle? Regardless, that is a damn shame, because I genuinely wish I had purchased this game at full price.
Speed Brawl is a 2D sidescrolling brawler, where speed is your friend. It features one of the most satisfying combat systems I’ve played. The faster you move, the more damage you do....

| Graphics | 3/5 - I am generally not a huge fan of anime, especially when it’s hypersexualized as most often than not seems to be the case to the uneducated (in the art form) like myself. As a kid growing up I always thought of it as too raw and too ugly for my tastes much preferring the style of western cartoons, but over the years I have gradually come to enjoy some of Studio Ghibli’s output (that is about as far as my anime adventurousness extends as I have never had any desire to seek out other studios output)....
Arcade Boy The kid who is going to arcade saloon for playing arcade games hears a weird voice comes from arcade machine. And he is just disappearing. When he wakes up, he finds himself in the arcade machine But this doesn’t look like machines that we know. There is a dilemma where new and old technology clash.
So … are you ready to solve this dilemma ?
Are you be able to complete the game by passing the challenging Trails?...
The Secret of Retropolis Disclaimer: I was given a copy for free as I was involved in the beta testing for the Steam version.
The game was successfully enjoyed with an Oculus Quest 2 headset and Airlink.
The Secret of Retropolis is a classic point & click adventure game in VR that puts you in the pants of a robot detective that is hired by a famous movie star to retrieve a stolen necklace....
Sleeping Valley Absolute crap. It’s not megacrap - it’s playable - but it’s definitely NOT enjoyable. The controls are slippery on keyboard and controller, there’s no way to navigate the game menu with a controller (and there isn’t much need to do that, UNLESS you die and need to click the restart button on the menu. The main character doesn’t have a sprite for turning - it’s like a 2D paper model you’re just guiding along a flat path, like the cheapest puppet show in the world....

Gunmetal Arcadia Zero Being a big fan of You Have to Win the Game and Super Win the Game (I’ve got 60 hours into it and have speedrun it many times) I was apprehensive about trying a game that appeared to control like Zelda II....
Steampunk Tower 2 Interesting and unique take on the tower defence genre, but a lack of explanation along with a clumsily devised game, confusing campaign and poor gameplay mechanics hamper this game and make it a chore to play as it progresses.
PROS:
I quite like the concept of a tower with customizeable turrets being dropped in the battlefield. I also like the design of the stick figures operating the turrets while you see a variety of enemy AI on the battlefield....
Noir Punk Full play through here if you get stuck or just want to see the game played:

Review:
Great game I love the noir genre so the aesthetic of this game is already a win for me it’s done pretty well and has some nice humor in it. My two main complaints is one I couldn’t find a way to make it full screen or any options for that matter and the sound puzzle this is a personal one for me because I HATE SOUND PUZZLES, unless they’re blatantly obvious I’m insanely garbage at them so full disclosure I had to cheat the one in this game which I show how to do in the video....
LIT: Bend the Light LIT: Bend the Light is a creative physics-based puzzle game in which you can experience the reflection and refraction of light beams in a fun manner. In each level you will need to find a way to use the available elements (various shaped mirrors, prisms, glass blocks) in order to guide a light beam from the source to its target. It’s more of a precision puzzler rather than a brain teaser: many of these levels require exact positioning / rotation of the available objects in order for the light beam to traverse them at certain angles....
