However, it definitely is not for everyone or a must-experience for VR by any stretch of the imagination. It’s a nicely put together game that will appeal to anyone looking for a casual city building (space-themed) experience. However, if you’re looking for a hard-core city sim, then you will be sorely disappointed here....

SpaceBlocc SpaceBlocc is a colorful minimalistic spaceship building game. A mysterious world you have to escape before it destroys you. BUILD YOUR SHIP Choose among 7 different parts to build your ship. By correctly managing your weight, thrust, and energy available you will be able to travel a different speeds. Slow and fast both have their advantages and disadvantages. Too slow and you will get destroyed by asteroid rains. Too fast and you won’t have time to destroy obstacles before colliding with them....

Undercrewed J+M+J It’s fun, though the bots are well… still bots, but that’s to be expected, at least they aren’t bad, they just aren’t to terribly great either. (They’ll do stuff like get stuck in a room, or pilot your about-dead-ship into mines that could have very easily been avoided or destroyed… but they’re pretty good in general with the rest of their duties) I’d really like to see more missions go into this game, but as to the ones that are up they are fun (though, they could do with a bit more variation… especially exploritory-wise, as traveling through space doesn’t seem to terribly interesting, but I’m not sure how you’d add more variety to that, besides maybe having a map where you have to carefully pilot around obstacles, or maybe pilot your way into a hanger/base of some sort)....

Space Wave Race An accessible racing game for the visually impaired. Full audible menu scheme and an impressive tutorial. The simple graphics are easy on the eye and sound is acceptable. The core racing game is fun with the challenge to win each race the options for a single race or championship mode. The controls are simple using keyboard only. It is a shame there is no real integration with Steam in relation to acheivements, Cards or Leaderboards all of which would add to the fun....

Blockships Now this game… I’m so happy I went to EGX: just for finding out about this game. You will not find anothergame quite like this. It is so fun. The game is so well refined, being a bit fiddly to rotate blocks and remove blocks from corners of a cube structure. But this shouldn’t push your choice away from it. If you think you could enjoy it, even if the features such as online multiplayer and bots arn’t there yet, support it, buy it, try to get some friends to try it out with you....
