Nirvana Pilot Yume I love the concept for this game - visual novel + SkyRoads (which was an amazing DOS game where you piloted a little space car hopping along interstellar highways) is such a good, fresh idea. Nirvana Pilot Yume also throws in a great synthwave soundtrack as well as an artistic style that reminds me of 80s anime and vaporwave music videos. The visual novel aspect of the game is really well written, and the dialogue is enjoyable and the sex scenes natural and non-cringy....

First Class Trouble This game’s community became trash the moment they made it cross platform. It was a great community of like minded players 9/10 sessions were very fun, social and generally pleasant but ever since they opened it up to the xbox community it’s just full of toxic players, people teaming and each lobby is nothing but homophobic and racist slurs. I have 135 hours on record but now it’s time to uninstall....

Gratuitous Space Battles If you get this game, get the complete pack. If you already have this game, get the Campaign module. Without the Campaign aspect, the game is very limited and ultimatey you won’t have much to do. But with the campaign, while it is VERY limited to just building fleets and maintaining them (with no other 4X concerns; all structures are pre-built in any given system), it becomes a completely different game....

Void Warfare I love the weapons effects and lighting, but the ship and aiming mechanics are very wonky. The larger ships from cruiser to behemoth (mothership) are nearly as manoeuvrable as fighters, both you and the enemies. I don’t mind my ship having awesome agility, but enemy capital ships moving around like fighters is very weird to watch. Also the aiming in this game is very hard to control. The aiming sensitivity is way to high and you can’t change it in the settings....
