XLarn Now - that’s a game I remember from the good old days(80’s) of text-graphic and console-commands to play your game. XLarn is a nice refresh of the old concept of Larn. Crawl though the dungeon, bash monsters, gather loot, avoid traps other nasty things and and recover the potion to save your daughter and win the game. That’s about it. And ofc. there is perma death and paying taxes - if you succeed and try again ;-)...

Usurper: Soulbound Usurper: Soulbound When you start the game, the training section welcomes you and the training easily teaches you everything you need to know. The graphic designs of the game belong to a full RPG world. The dark and jagged designs of the dungeons make you feel like you are on a real battlefield. One of my favorite features of the game is that there are parry, block and Dodge mechanics in the game....
All Walls Must Fall - A Tech-Noir Tactics Game A great game that just needs a bit more polish. If you liked xcom or syndicate (old school) youll probably love this game. This game has a few levels to it. The first level is a great shooter/ and minimal rogue or semi-RPG with time travel mechanics. Some of the firefights can be intense and complex strategizing your twisting of time between hailstorms of bullets allowing one man to wipe out an army....
Mess Cleanup You will have to do cleaning and search for items in a pile of scattered things on each randomly generated level. Completing one task after another, you will receive points and a small bonus to time. Each new task is more difficult than the previous one, and it takes a limited amount of time to find items. Try to get as many points as possible before all the time runs out and the game is over....
Ragnorium This game is a gem in the making. Standard EA gripes apply. Unfinished content, which gets added regularly, lack of colonist micromanagement, bugs (although not gamebreaking and most of them get addressed pretty quickly). The developer is very hands on and takes care of your problems quite fast if you take the time to send your save files or crash logs. For me, it scratches a few itches. It’s a colony builder/manager, with leveling up your colonists which you get every few days with new launches from the mother ship, where you choose which colonist clone to create and send to the planet....

Dungeons of Dredmor I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for one of my favorite games of all time. Dungeons of Dredmor is an incredible roguelike. It’s a liiiiittle buggy, but sometimes that bugginess is part of the charm. Other times you get stuck in geometry by accident and crash to desktop. It’s a SOMEWHAT stable game, but it does sometimes hardlock, so make sure you save frequently(I recommend right before and after heading down a floor)....
