Towers and items must be unblocked by ingame progress....

Choice of Robots Most fun I’ve had in a Video Game without graphics: Choice of Robots is probably the most intriguing narrative experience I’ve found in choice / graphic novel genre games. Unlike most games, it does everything well. It would be difficult to say what it does best, but the storyline is definitely an incredible selling point. I like to spin out every scenario in a choice game, seeing what different routes exist, and never rush through....

SD GUNDAM G GENERATION CROSS RAYS This is a game whose enjoyment comes with several caveats: Do you like gundam (or other giant robot shows)? Do you enjoy oldschool turn based strategy? Can you overlook some rough bits of rough presentation for an otherwise pretty enough experience? This is a very niche game for fans of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise. I say that, but it’s geared more towards those who have watched the more modern shows (and shows that the west have more experience with)....

The Colonists 5/5 This game is a fantastic take on base-building, resource optimisation and pathing. It’s simple to get into, scales sensibly and the campaign levels scale well in difficulty. I’ve played many of the similar games available and this one gets the complexity level exactly right with a nice style of graphics. Mechanically, one thing that stands out for me is that this is a network optimisation game where the networks (roads and paths) are cost nothing and appear instantly, making experimenting and fiddling easy....

Rustbucket Rumble I like Rust Bucket Rumble, its a simple game, simple art, simple controls, but I think it all comes together in a fun way. you team up with three players and fight another team of three. you try to stun the enemys and drag them to your recycler to be built into a giant robot, that then proceeds to march across the map eating enemys and smashing the enemy base....

Get-A-Grip Chip Get-A-Grip Chip is a fun platformer for people who know one obvious truth: The grappling hook is the best part of every video game. Launch yourself around the screen navigating terrain and avoiding hazards. You can’t jump, but you spend the majority of the game airborne. The mechanics and sound design feel crisp. The art design is fun without being overly cutesy. The difficulty is intermediate. If you sometimes play games casually with friends/family this is a game that can be picked up pretty quickly and where you can make meaningful progress without being super deftly handed....
