Trials of Mana A great remake for a great game, although not flawless. I compiled the items I wanted to highlight on bullets below for better clarity. Do bear in mind I’m halway through the game at the time of writing. -Overall comparison to the original: If you’re one of those people feeling trauma over FFVIIR, rest assured that this game is extremely loyal to the original, at least up to what what current social standards allow (lookign at you, Sorceress class attack), the exception being the battle sytem, but we can all agree that the original’s attack-retreat-weapon charged-attack cycle with screen freezing magic wouldn’t fly beyond the SNES....

The Wonderful 101: Remastered I’ve been playing this game for YEARS back when it released on the Wii U. I never thought in a million years that The Wonderful 101 would have an official PC release. Restaurant Empire II I’ve played Restaurant Empire II off and on over many years (counting that the first game is included in II). When buying REII you get the full original RE game included. The graphics are basic, the AI of customers and staff very limited, and the interface clunky in that you have to do a lot manually and one by one - for example you have to add recipes individually to the restaurant menu....

Wild Guns Reloaded A major & faithful remaster of a steampunk, wild west themed SNES shooter. The graphics & sounds have been updated, two new characters & stages have been added, the play area has been widened for modern monitors, and more added features. The only things they removed are the Bonus Stages and the VS. mode, which were both just bare-bones shooting gallery mini-games anyway. Comparing the graphics and such to the SNES, it’s a vast improvement, or at the very least, more detailed....

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered This is unequivocally one of the best stealth games around. It’s certainly one of the best Klei games. The non-remaster version is no longer available on Steam for purchase so it’s a moot point, however:[olist] Updated/enhanced visuals of an already fantastic art style.* Improved audio.* Includes the DLC “Dosan’s Tale”.[/olist] Mark of the Ninja is effectively an instant classic as much as I hate the phrase....

Ultimate Racing 2D Ok, so I played it quite a bit. I tried to find something positive in every update… I like how the devs are working on the metagame (career and stuff). And that’s it. The rest is garbage. Basic mechanic is utterly broken, and by that I mean tyre model. Different compounds does not mean that car should have like a speed-cap applied. Tyres don’t have anything to do with car speed, but with grip....
