Real-Time with Pause

Feylin I like the art and I think that it has potential to be pretty good. I am unsure how to accomplish it but the mouse being the indicator of where you swing your sword isn’t that good when you’re constantly moving around. A different control scheme would certainly help. A little more content would be nice but for the price it was a pretty decent framework for a game. I would also recommend more sounds for when enemies are hit and different ways to attack....

Dredgers This is tough, because I love this game and it’s concept. It’s so fun! I have a lot of praise for it. Unfortunately, I feel like I can’t recommend it at this time for two reasons: Missing basics like any type of saving, which pretty much everything I’ve played since the days of shareware has had, seems quite sloppy. The display of the amount of hours I’ve played isn’t really correct: most of that has been on pause because I didn’t want to exit and lose all my progress on the run....

Planet Colonization This is a tough one to rate. I thought I was buying a builder. Instead it is a unique take on Real Time Strategy in which prices from the independent market are the key drivers in determining how you build a functioning economy to support the war machine to take down your rivals. The approach is creative and unique. You have to focus on staying profitable. Whatever resources you need you can buy in the market....

Drakensang: The River of Time It started really well and I really began to enjoy this game, then the awful combat system kicked in during critical times, which can be a real pain. Though I like the pause and ensuing tactical planning elements, it does not always work. For example, I could be hit by ranged weapons and despite having high level ranged combat, I could not fire back despite pause, select targeting, etc....
