Drakensang: The River of Time It started really well and I really began to enjoy this game, then the awful combat system kicked in during critical times, which can be a real pain. Though I like the pause and ensuing tactical planning elements, it does not always work. For example, I could be hit by ranged weapons and despite having high level ranged combat, I could not fire back despite pause, select targeting, etc....
Europa Universalis IV I’m a divorced woman of color. Recently, my ex got our son Larry a video game called Europa Universalis for his 14th birthday. It seemed good for him, because it takes place in the distant past and he’s always been interested in history, so it seemed like a nice enough game, no graphic violence or anything, at least until I sat down and watched him play at it....
TETRUX: Online Well, I was retro-gaming on some old Atari computers I recently revived, and one of the games that I liked a lot was Thetris, a post 8-bit era game written in the early 2000’s that was one of the better Tetris clones for the Atari. The music was great. Of course, I loved the original Tetris music, too, from the old Arcade game. The make-or-break Tetris games for me always have a great soundtrack that matches the pace of what you’re doing rather well....
Hexogin Seems like a nice little game, though I ran into a bug on Mission 9 that meant I couldn’t complete the mission and continue the campaign. Corpoct The advertisement videos shows gameplay that isn’t consistent with the actual choices/options/theme of the game. Buyer beware. Other than that, it’s a simplistic wanna-be “FTL”, but its not. It could be good for small children who just barely know how to read. In fact, it should come with an expected player age of 7 years old. This isn’t insult or malice, I just think that the target audience should be an upfront aspect shown to the buyer....
