Wetlands When I saw this game appear on Steam, a long forgotten memory came back to me! This is actually my very fist video game! I remember when my parents bought me my first PC, this “new game” was delivered with the PC. I didn’t like it because it was too difficult (for a 9 year old). The cutscenes are excellent, beautiful cartoony style, but the gameplay itself is a very bland railshooter … which is fine, I guess … but if you don’t care to play this game (which is a challenge if approached without nostalgia glasses), then just watch the cutscenes on YouTube....

VIRTUAL SOLDIERS It is FINE. There are 6 levels that take about 3-4 minutes each to complete. The environment IS destructible but the screen is often so busy as to not matter. For $10, there just isn’t enough content here. Viper Note before We begin: While I may not have much on the PC Version of the game I have owned the original PS1 Version of the game since it’s release and will be referring mostly to the PS1 Version for this review In addition at the time of this writing there is a bug causing the game to crash on the 2nd level without entering the password for it. The developers have confirmed this is being fixed....

PlanTechtor I played an earlier demo at Seattle Indies Expo during PAX last year and it’s really cool to see how far it’s come. It’s also been fun to follow it’s development and read about the story on how the dev got here. As for the game, it’s really polished and clean and plays well. The graphics aren’t the most detailed but the cartoon-style look works well for the game and makes it easy to focus on things like the level layout and which enemies you’re facing....
