Sumerian Blood: Gilgamesh against the Gods Oh hey Archon, longtime no see. No, really, this game is indeed an Archon, and seems like it would have easily fit in back in the early EA days, alongside Adept and Mail Order Monsters. Sumerian Blood almost feels like a prequel to Archon. The various units are nicely diverse, the combat’s fun, and it’s easy enough to aim and control. You’ve got various units that fling spikes, bouncing arrows, homing balls, or just throw themselves explosively at enemies, so combat’s going to stay fresh for awhile....
Jiangshi x Daoshi I absolutely love this game! It uses a refreshing mix of static avatars & backgrounds, with frequent animation and motion comic action panels reminiscent of Dead Leaves. This gives the game an extremely dynamic feel, which makes up for the lack of choices. Like many Visual Novels, heavy emphasis is on the word Novel, as such, interaction in this game is mostly limited to hunting for words that the in-game hover-dictionary may explain for you....
Sons of Ra Neat concept and all the characters explore different playstyles. Soundtrack is a big standout, it’s great! Having played long enough to unlock all the gods, the strategy feels a little too minion-focused at time of review. None of the god abilities buff towers- only disabling or destroying them. Most abilities either damage or buff units already on the board, or summon a super powerful unit. I can reliably win games without building a single structure, and I would like to see the balance shift a bit towards building to really lean into the tower-defense aspect....

Dragon War This game has good potential. The idea of fighting other dragons and having to worry about more than one is rad. I like how each dragon varies and has different abilities but overall are the same, which makes the fighting a bit more fair. The AI will circle around a bunch and do lots of movements that can be very mind boggling or annoying. The game is obviously in early release so there is lots of updates that are needed....
The Great Unborn I spent two whole dollars on this and I would have rather set both dollar bills on fire and shoved them up my butthole than have played this game for a single minute. The scenery is generic and unchanging, the combat simplistic (you only have one move), the enemy AI makes no sense. And to top it all off, ! when you reach the final boss, you get a screen that says “you failed to get revenge and have died” and then the game ends....

Egyptian Senet To summerize, if you are someone who goes for something with content and thought then try this out; it’s for literally 50 cents when it’s on sale. This game’s graphics are higher than the screenshots posted, so don’t be fooled. This version is made for normal desktop resolution so I don’t know why any kid would complain. The design is pretty good for a 2D design, and the effort put in the details in the art were meticulously done and not just randomly copied....
