Bots have been an issue from the start of the game and all it would take is a few minutes of active attention on each server per day to identify them and ban them. Even if you dont get them all the first day the numbers will dwindle quickly....

Tried this game years ago using the fan-translation patch which was done splendidly by the translation team and got instantly hooked by the myriad amount of characters personality and while the story might seem generic in the sea of school life themed VN, they still did a wonderful job in delivering it and made it captivating as well....
