Under the Sand, on the other hand, as it stands with the lastest full rebuilt version at the time of writing, offers a story-lite experience that encourages the players to weave their own experiences on a lonesome desert road....
Out of Reach: Treasure Royale 7.8 hours of gameplay, here’s my take: Mechanically speaking for a BR, it works. There is minor input lag that has nothing to do with VSynch as I don’t use it, but it’s not game breaking. The combat needs a bit more polish as it can be a little rough. It definitely needs more human players, but the community is organizing lobbies so there is opportunity....
Unending Dusk Unending Dusk is a decent beat’em up if you enjoy grinding stats and finding rare attack mods. As you can see I dropped over 80 hours just to max out 2 of the 4 characters. I guess you could say that it has some roguelite elements, although there is no perma-death. The stages are randomly generated so you can run into a secret shop or a hidden area, and that is not counting the stat grind which is usually associated with the genre....

Tallowmere Ok, I played about 5 or 6 lives as soon as it installed then had a break to compose myself… after 30 mins or so I was like “I need to get past level 5” so I jumped back in for another frantic axe whacking rampage. Then my goal was to conquer the double digits which is when I started realising that approaching enemies with a little more tact goes a long way....
Cavesweeper Been a fan of BankBank’s work from way back, some of the wildest games Ive ever played have pored out of this bountiful creative mind. Sally forth me if you wrong, but the Indie scene as we know it would basically not exist if not for BankBank… As for the game itself, I find it to be a maddeningly enticing combination of the Minesweeper template with some of the greatest storytelling endeavors of the early computer RPG scene… Wizardry 4, Ultima 4, Ultima 7 and Wizardry 6, 7 and 8 have all left their indelible marks upon this curious little sojourn....
Hyperspace Dogfights Updated Review: Excellent game, 269 hours of playtime (with still more stuff to unlock and do; I only have 98% completion, with a new major update on the way (No Masters, that is)!), excellent potential for challenge runs, and, in my opinion, overall a nigh-flawless example of roguelikes. By the way, here’s one tip that’s very helpful: If you’re being tracked by a homing missile, a square crosshair will follow you....
I Can’t Believe It’s Not Gambling 2(K) The float on the drop sucks and the minigames are a chore really - good try tho. Also the spin is so damn slow that I just want to leave my computer alone while it clicks for me. As a note, I enjoyed the previous installments of the franchise; but this one has too many waiting mechanics that I can’t get myself to play it....
