The presentation is nice with a practical interface. The game has a good variability with different layouts and advanced features that can be mixed in different ways (new objectives and actions)....

Sons of Ra Neat concept and all the characters explore different playstyles. Soundtrack is a big standout, it’s great! Having played long enough to unlock all the gods, the strategy feels a little too minion-focused at time of review. None of the god abilities buff towers- only disabling or destroying them. Most abilities either damage or buff units already on the board, or summon a super powerful unit. I can reliably win games without building a single structure, and I would like to see the balance shift a bit towards building to really lean into the tower-defense aspect....

Austen Translation This is a cute, casual game inspired by Jane Austen’s works and the culture of her time. Each game is fairly quick to play (about 10-15 minutes), which turned me off at first, but then I decided I liked that since I can play it even if I don’t have much time. I love the graphic style, and the game play is amusing. It did take me a few tries before I really got the hang of it, so don’t get discouraged it you’re confused at first....

Streets of Fury EX This is the most fun I’ve ever had with a beat ‘em up. Streets of Fury EX certainly doesn’t have the ambiance of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara, or the soundtrack of Streets of Rage, or the visuals of Capcom’s Alien vs Predator. But what the game lacks in artistic and technical prowess, it makes up for with its zany humour, large cast of playable characters, and awesome gameplay depth....

The Yawhg Initially, when I first heard of this game, I just figured, “hey, this looks kinda neat but I’m not paying $10 for it becuase I’m a lousy cheap-ass.” It looked like a cool concept to me and if it looks like a cool concept to you, then you’re perhaps in for something of a treat. Now, when I first played it on my own, I wasn’t particularly entertained. I mean, yes, the different story paths were somewhat interesting and the various different endings were kinda cool but I wasn’t really absorbed into it....

Trials Evolution: Gold Edition Let’s get this straight: I absolutely adore this game, it is really fun to play and see how you improve over time. Even better if you have a couple of friends to compete with on the leadersboards or play a bit of multiplayer. You can even make your own tracks in the editor which is pretty easy to get started in, but advanced enough to make crazy minigames and really slick looking tracks....
