Comparing this to Old Time Hockey (Bush Hockey League) and it just will not, cannot compare to this gem. The game is easy to pick up, being a NHL Hitz fan i found an exploit for easy goals as you had to with Midway games, and this game has that same feel....

Winning the cup was akin to the feeling of accomplishment in recent gaming memory of beating a Hades boss for the first time. Super responsive dev as well, had a couple quality of life requests as well as the below AI complaint (which I’ll leave in for context) and I got a response and a week later updated with exactly what I asked for as well as a new mode which adds some replay-ability after the campaign, seems like it will only continue to get better (Would 100% purchase a canvas hockey 2, maybe with 5-on-5 play)...

Hockey Manager 20|20 The game is as deep of a hockey sim as I’ve ever seen, however no NHL license is a bit of an immersion killer for me, because I spend more time editing than I do playing. Another downer for me is not having the ability to choose between Euros and Dollars or KG’s and LB’s. When there is a complete overhaul to the US and Canadian teams available in the workshop then I’ll be more interested in playing, but until then it’s FHM for me....
