MMA Arena Initially I loved this game but lately I have stalled out big time. I cant progress to a new fight until I have 3 blue belts. I cant get my blue belts because apparently I cant click my mouse fast enough, or make it through training dealing 15 damage with the limited combo cards I am given, or make it through sparring taking 5 damage or less, or drag the correct symbols to the center of the circle fast enough with my laptop mouse in an exercise better suited for a touch screen....
A Gummy’s Life If the only thing they did was a carbon-copy remake of Gang Beasts with just a ‘splatter’ like they have for the punches, it would have been worth at least a dollar. There was that, and so much more, and my kids (7 & 10) absolutely loved it! I find it way less boring than gang beasts with all the bot options and the much, much more interactive environments....
Nyaa-kuza!! The UI, level hub, and main menu art assets are absolutely gorgeous, and it seems like there’s a lot of content to play through. There are a ton of different characters in the dialogue sequences but I don’t think it gets to the point of being overwhelming. I also really enjoy certain aspects of the combat, like choosing between different kinds of weapons (including a catzooka??!), and the falling clothesline; I hope there’s more interactive environments like that....
Battle Girls A short, mecha fighting story with some romance options brought to you by the Dharker Studios. You were chosen as a mecha pilot to represent your nation in an international competition. Just to be clear, there is no mecha action here, it’s pure VN. You have several battles to go through and multiple choices to reach one of many endings. While the VN is relatively short, to complete all scenarios will likely double the length so it’s not bad....
