ZpellCatz: Pumpkin Prologue Combat and movement are far too slow for a mouse and keyboard control scheme like this. I understand you can upgrade your equipment and become faster, but that still doesn’t mean anything when both you and your enemies have to come to a complete stop to attack. Honestly, the slow combat and movement feel forced to just to make it more of a grind. I don;t expect a lot of people are going to want to download or buy the full version if the combat is this slow....

Chessaria: The Tactical Adventure (Chess) TL;DR A game of chess and chess-puzzles, with an extremely high-cliché fantasy theme. Quite engaging, highly-polished and very enjoyable. Full Review I discovered this title by accident, but wow… what a surprise! I quite like chess, but it does tend to be a) quite clinical and b) too difficult. This game, however, fixes that! Chessaria comes with a quick-play mode against the computer with a few chess variants (standard chess, plus some asymmetric variants and other unusual scenarios)....

Dragon Age™: Origins Awakening Dragon Age Origins Awakening is in no way an anomaly. It does what is expected from an expansion pack, adds a little here and a little there, rehashes everything that was in the original and doesn’t add anything new or major. And, like most expansion packs, stand alone or otherwise, it is only worth it for fans of the original as taken by it’s own merits, it’s not much of a game....

Gloom and Doom Dude, this is so cutting! I had so much fun playing this game. Well, that’s not quite a surprise to me, seeing as I was already predisposed to like it as soon as I read the description: “90s outcast movies” quirky, but oh so human, supernatural characters, “a dark coming-of-age story” against the backdrop of looming apocalypse, comicbook style visuals…But beyond that initial hook of 90s nostalgia, loads of pop culture references and familiar tropes I found much more - a careful look at depression, loneliness and alienation, being stuck in a loop with no exit, themes of free will vs destiny, choices and responsibility, and a central heartwarming relationship between two unlikely protagonists....

Save Jesus 4k graphics, blown away by the sound quality, the voice acting is superb. personally, one of my favorite quotes is “ya think yu can stop me? look it, ah gawt a tahme macheen!” very intricate and thought-out dialogue is one of this game’s strongest points. in addition, the plot and lore of save jesus is so complex and designed so well that its almost like you are actually there in the game saving jesus!...

Effie This is again more of a neutral rating than a definite positive one. But let me get more into the details to explain. Effie is a typical Unreal 3D-platformer made by a small team, and this shows, in both good and bad ways. On the positive side you can definitely see the dedication and work that was put into the environments of some levels (like the Vineyard or Windmills City), the platforming sequences are decent, too, and the many runes to collect give some good incentive to explore....

The Little Acre The Little Acre is one of those games you don’t really want to give a negative review, mainly because of it’s beautifully hand-drawn animations. If there was a ‘mixed’ choice I would have chosen that one. First of all, the game is really short. I left the game running while doing something else so I can’t say how long it really is but I’m pretty sure it’s less than 2 hours and I did not rush through the game....
