Unknightly please note that this current review is an edit to my original review, it will be quite long but its worth putting out there. firstly when i first got this game i hated it, i wont lie about that because honesty is the best policy or at least thats what i have been raised to believe. anyways i left a rather hateful and scummy review saying that this game wasnt worth it even if it was literally given to me and looking back i realize i was a bit harsh in my words and judgement....

The Cursed Forest I originally played this game when it was released and posted my thoughts in a review at Just Adventure. It is still accessible even though the site is dormant. At the time, I gave The Cursed Forest high marks. I just finished replaying the game and my intention was to run through and pick up the achievements I had missed. Instead, I became totally absorbed and played a ‘new game’ all the way through....

The Last Chimera First things first, heed the content warning. Not sure why the captives had to be chained up, the plot implies everyone is a willing participant. Beatable in four hours. Interesting monster designs. A fair bit of thought has been put into this game. Combat suffers from being JRPG random encounters + level grind. Would have been fun if you had to think a bit more about which splits you bring with you and what they’re geared with for each fight (in fairness, you probably do on Hard but it’s a bit hard to tell what’s going on)....

Atrio: The Dark Wild It’s still very early access but this is a fun game! I was in the mood for a new base-builder game when I found the demo for Atrio. I liked it enough that I bought the game on day one. I’ve sinked a few hours into the game and I am loving it. It’s like Factorio and Don’t Starve had a cute baby. Right now I’m playing in story mode....

Glitchpunk Review of Alpha. Been on my wishlist ever since I saw it, since it did look a lot like gta2, which was my prime streaming game for a long time, so gave it a shot as soon as I could (didnt play demo though). Will start with positives: Really does feel inspired by old gta’s a lot: radio (humor and songs), gang-respect system, tank-controls in car, saves at home, burping, gouranga and other small things - pretty cool!...

Hell Loop Enjoyable. Pros: It’s fun to find effective strategies. The “no escape” mode is very challenging and fun. Cons: Your trap choices can make some playthroughs on higher difficulty impossible. The Fog Before you read: Keep in mind I’m still playing, and I’ve only played about 25 minutes so far, and died once. So, I think my experience with this game is… odd, so far. You’re dropped into nowhere, with very little explanation of what’s going on. You have no tutorial, no helpboxes short of just the occasional “E to interact” “Space to pick up”, etc. You’re not actually taught how to use the items, you need to kinda figure it out....
