Them’s Fightin' Herds This game will forever mean something special to me, even if I’ve had to shelve it and move on as a result of my own obsessions with victory/how I’m perceived by others. It’s almost impossible to be fully objective after everything that’s happened since I started following it closely circa late 2011, but I’ll try…and I’ll keep it to a bulleted list for brevity. PROS: 6 (now 7, likely 8 at some point in the future) extremely-well-fleshed-out characters who are all viable at every skill level, and wholly unique in their movement/offensive capabilities....

TimeTravelers A VR concert with kawaii girls? Take my money! I absolutely love VR concerts and I probably spend as much time in Hop, Step, Sing! songs and MocuMocuDance as I do playing VR games so I am a bit biased but this is fairly decent, IMO. The music is a little bit lower quality compared to HSS! but I do like the Vocaloid-like effect they’re using on the lyrics and I do like that there’s a karaoke mode, something I wish HSS!...

Spice&Wolf VR2 This game is heavier than Cyberpunk and Half Life ALYX. For this game, I need to use 70% resolution scale on GTX 1660 Super and Ryzen 5 2600. They also gave no option to disable or lower the quality of the desktop vr view mirroring. Unlike other games (e.g. beat saber) where you can put the mirror in lowest quality and keep high quality in VR. btw, Why they didnt put the subtitle above their heads?...

Anarcute Anarcute is a game that involves leading critter rioters against the Brainwash Patrol, who have dominated the world and rule through broadcasting propoganda and I guess sleep-signals (hence the sleeping rioters, and the ones who are attached to the side of buildings). The game has a cute aesthetic based on chibi models, simplified yet interactive backgrounds, and catchy + cute electronica soundtracks. It involves massing up rioters to gain abilities (which can also be lost if you lose rioters at certain thresholds), some of which you need to traverse, but the game works well in that you can find other routes and means to get through the level with what is given....

METALLIC CHILD Metallic Child starts us off in the aftermath of an AI rebellion, where the protagonist android (Rona), needs our help to stop a spaceship on a collision course with Earth. She was damaged from trying to stop the rogue robots herself, so she needs someone who can control her directly via remote uplink. You happen to be her first contact, and thus her mission becomes your mission. You see, in this game, we may be controlling Rona, but we are playing as ourselves, as a person....
