Double Dragon Trilogy At this point in the history of the franchise, you either “get” Double Dragon, or you don’t. This is a side-scrolling beat-em-up in it’s purest and simplest form. You can punch, kick, jump, jump kick, and do a scant few other moves. The enemies you’ll face all have personality, but it’s of the behavior-based variety. The game is challenging, particularly on the Original and Expert difficulties, but can be finished in a short amount of time… even shorter if you become particularly skilled at the game and the nuances in it’s play....

THE GAME OF LIFE I get why this has mixed reviews but at the price point it’s worth it. This is basically just a digital recreation of your favorite childhood game. Not much more and not much less. There are a couple small interface issues, like for example sometime a card pops up for a few seconds and before you’ve figured out what the card even says you are being asked to select another player to apply the card to…....

Raiden Legacy - Steam Edition I rate Raiden Legacy 4/5. Good. Works well now. EDIT: I’ve learned more about what these games were originally supposed to be like. Now I rate Raiden Legacy 3/5. OK. But it is still the only collection of these Raiden games available on Steam and when coupled with the frame rate fix linked below, Raiden Legacy has the potential to be a good game. The overall negative rating of this game collection appears to no longer be justified....

Stick RPG 2: Director’s Cut If you enjoyed the first stick rpg then you will likely enjoy this one. Part of me does feel however, that this sequel went away from some of the charm that made the first game so fun. For example, you no longer feel a sense of progression as you move up the numerous career ladders. Remember your voice message in the first game? There is none of that in this game....

UNO So this game is tons of fun, I gotta say, it’s fantastic to play with a group of friends because, as always, Uno is great fun. The card packs and new rulesets are also fantastic and really change up the pace of the game and make it even more fun, beyond what normal Uno can provide. That’s about all it’s got going for it though. The coding of the game itself and the networking are absolutely atrocious....

Bridge! This product is by Aerosoft who I have come across before being producers of payware for Microsoft Flight Simulator. All I can say about this constantly crashing game is that it lived up to my expectations and it’s performance limitations killed it stone dead - five crashes to desktop in the space of one hour. From what I understand the sequel to this game is also worth saving your money over for similar reasons....

Garfield Kart - Furious Racing Thirty seven hours, thirty seven hours is all it takes to see god. Have you ever seen something so magical, so wonderful, that your mind cant help but look back on what could have been. In my thirty seven hours of game-play in “Garfield Kart - Furious Racing” my soul felt as though it left my body. Soon all I could see was Garfield, my toilet, Garfield, my table, Garfield, even my entire house was transforming into Garfield....

Sea Dogs: City of Abandoned Ships This is the perfect pirates game. i spent years trying to play this game but my computers never allowed me. now i have had the chance to fully play this game i have to say it has given me hour of fun. do you want to be a merchant and become the wealthiest man in the Caribbean and trade your way to power, or become a privateer and attack your nations foes and bring riches and glory to your nation or do you want to be a feared pirate who will attack anything on sight for wealth and reputation and be the most fearsome man in the Caribbean sea....

Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee® WARNING! THIS GAME CAN BE DIFFICULT! But, AH! The memories! :D The protagonist of this memorable tale is named Abe. A Mudokon who was born a slave and works for RuptureFarms, a meat processing factory. One day Abe discovers that he and his kind are to be sent to the slaughterhouse. Not only that, they will soon become the “new & tasty” delicasy on the menu! He decides that he better make a break from the Glukkons who hold him captive and decides to rescue as many of his fellow Mudokons as he can along the way....

Knights and Merchants Great Nostalgia, as I played the original game ~2000 when I was a kid. If you already played this game, you can’t do much wrong buying it again, it contains both campaigns (The Shattered Kingdom [TSK] & The Peasants Rebellion [TPR]) which should take ~50hrs of raw speedrunning if you still know the concept of the game. There is a problem though: This is NOT the original game from 2000!...
