Chickens Madness Bought this looking for something fun to play with the 4 yo in front of the TV. Pretty clunky and unfinished to begin with, the lastest update has tightened up some problems with the controls and added a bunch of game modes. The kid loves it - there’s some charm to the game, but a couple of things sour it. 1. The violence - one mini game involves squashing baby chicks into bloody spots - not really enjoyable and adds a nasty tinge to the otherwise family friendly fun, sure you can skip/remove from the list but wouldn’t miss it if it was removed....

Gearshifters A fantastic arcade shooter! Pros -Great gameplay -Creative enemy/faction variety -Awesome bosses -Enjoyable progression Cons -Starting a boss fight with half or lower health could be an absolute drag. -Difficult bosses/sections can have you repeating the same levels far too many times to be enjoyable. Thoughts -I feel like the bosses would have been much more enjoyable if you always entered the fight with full health. Perhaps after successfully reaching the boss and dying the amount of levels you have to repeat should only be one instead of two....

Carmageddon Max Pack Carmageddon is an amazing, unique game and one of my all-time favourites. For that alone, I have to recommend it. That being said, the version being offered here is frankly quite terrible. You get to choose between software mode and 3dfx mode. Software mode is visually outdated even by 1997 standards, so most people will play the 3dfx version. Both options run in DOSBox - and while I think there are good DOSBox ports out there, this is not one of them....
