Gelly Break Deluxe I was sponsored to play this for a few hours with a friend, we really enjoyed it and will likely stream it some more. It’s got a clever co-op mechanic and the map design was fun and the soundtrack was also great, though sadly I couldn’t even find it on YouTube. We had a few issues with remote play but it did work and presumably that isn’t an issue on Switch either....
BULLET PARTY This is a seemingly straightforward schmup on the surface but it’s just as much a puzzle game. Levels fly at you thick & fast, and you sometimes have just seconds to destroy all the enemies onscreen. However the visuals, whilst retro, are clearly defined & even though you will perish (many times!) it never feels annoying as you get put back in again, forcing you to think quickly & remember what worked & what didn’t....
Trigonarium This is EXCELLENT. I bought it on sale, and would happily pay full price. I loved Geometry Wars, Waves and countless other 2-stick shooters (also old enough to have loved Asteroids…), but this feels fresh. It’s perfectly polished, and the addition of constant mid-game changes to the arena shape gives you something new to run away from, learn, and sometimes use to your advantage. No unfair deaths, no easy/lazy ways to grind through levels, no smart bombs, and in challenge mode just one life....
D-Corp When we were offered this key, we honestly didn’t know what to expect–we’d beaten the heck out of Overcooked and Dungeon Defenders before, and this seemed similar, but we were skeptical. Welp, WE WERE WRONG. This game hooked us quick and DIDN’T LET GO–it’s sci-fi a cousin of Overcooked with an emphasis on harvesting and defending, and couples will especially love this one and will probably find it a lot less frustrating than others in the genre....

Uncraft World After seeing Rooster Teeth do a video on this, I bought the first two Uncraft Me! games on the Xbox 360 a couple years ago and found them addictive, despite (or because of) the challenge and the “reward” (wink wink) at the end of each level. So, you could imagine my happiness when I found this game had finally been ported to Steam. I have found that the game plays easier when using a game controller, like that for the Xbox One....
S.U.B. Small and simple co-op but very fun – Real player with 1.4 hrs in game Read More: Best Co-op Campaign Local Co-Op Games. Small co-op station game. 1 submarine, 2 players, 4 stations (steering, weapons, scanner, smelter), 1 level. essential, this feels like a minimalist version of Catastronauts that is also less exciting. You navigate the deep looking for keycards and scrap metal while fending off laser sharks, and when you enter the enemy base, it turns out they’re in another castle, and the game ends....

Haunt Chaser Short story: BUY THIS GAME! Longer story: The game is still in early access at review point, but I wouldn’t have guessed it if I didn’t know it in advance. What I’m saying is that it’s very well made. Not to forget that it’s a small group of developers making such a great game! The game is ideal as a multiplayer game, as there is 4vs1 (chasers vs entity)....
Eye in the Sky If you have someone around to play this with… friend, spouse, kid, whatever… get this game! Caveats: People who are not very experienced with computer games in general should probably play in VR. The PC controls can be tricky if you are not used to them and it might get frustrating. If both players are gamers, you are sure to have a blast regardless!...
