Super Mega Baseball 3 Superb. Almost perfection. The negatives a very VERY small so I’ll list them first. There is no 1. instant replay which is a shame because you cant watch close up “climbing” the fence to get the out, (yeah they do that) pick-off of heavy leaders (yeah they do that too) Double plays, outfield to plate saves, etc;;you get the drift. amazing stuff happens and it would be cool to watch it up close....
NBA 2K21 The hands down worst game series is back with another carbon copy of its predecessor. I could just copy-paste my NBA 2k20 review, but that would be hypocritical. I remember listing the recurring bugs and the most glaring defects in my early reviews. Perhaps the most annoying, recurring, bug is the automatic playcalling bug: There’s a switch in the options to toggle the playcalling from automatic to manual. The switch doesn’t work, still....
Worms Rumble I always wanted to learn how to ninja rope like the pros in Worms 1999. Now there is Worms Rumble, a real time action game with ninja ropes. The jetpack will probably give you a bigger advantage, but that’s ok since ninja roping is way more fun! There were many bugs we came across at the release, but after a week the devs fixed most of them and continue to work hard making the game better....
Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues It sure is nice to have a new beat em up to play. They don’t make too many of these anymore. I particularly like the tie in to the excellent Cobra Kai netflix series. Unlike the show, don’t expect this to have any good writing (save for the genuinely funny one liners that the characters have after winning a fight). This is purely a fighting game, one that is clearly a loving homage specifically to the Streets of Rage series....
