Best Rome Benchmark Games on PC

Ryse: Son of Rome fun game that holds up today even though it was just a “tech demo” when release. decent story, solid graphics, and mediocre gameplay. plays like a simpler version of the batman arkham series. the only downside is that campaign is very short (4-6hrs) and the combat is repetitive. still, worth checking out since it plays like an extended action movie. – Real player with 60.8 hrs in game...

Crysis Warhead® Because Spelling Crysis normally isnt cool enough… This game is a Strong standalone expansion to the original Crysis game which was released on September 2008. Warhead follows a plot that happens during the original story of the first game and explains lots of things from the first game! You follow a Tough as Nails englishman Nicknamed “Pyscho” and he has a very interesting story to tell, although a short one!...

Half-Life 2: Lost Coast Half-Life 2: Lost Coast is some kind of show-case made by Valve to introduce their new High Dynamic Range method of applying light inside the Source Engine. Actually, although this is a very technical subject, the developer’s commentary that comes with it, is more than worthwhile listening to. It gives quite some insight into how this mini-level was constructed, and even into how HDR lighting actually works....

Best Simulation Benchmark Games on PC

Wiggly Boy Outstanding. Incredible. Masterpiece. 11/10. Amazing story mode with both intense and light-hearted moments. The main character’s backstory has immense depth while still allowing for further character development. The main character redefines what it means to grow as an individual, and pushes you, the player, to drive him further, to push beyond the artificial limits we place on ourselves. The first-person shooter mode redefines the FPS genre as a whole....

Crysis 2 - Maximum Edition This isn’t a war ordinary humans can win! This is the future! I still remember being very hyped after watching Crysis 2 trailers and promotional material. I was all in when Crytek decided to expand the series outside the Lingshan islands we last saw in the original Crysis and its spinoff Warhead. I’m going to be as honest and unbiased with you guys as possible. Despite being a huge fan of the series as whole, I wasn’t very impressed with the sequel....

Crysis® 3 A small note: My hours aren’t accurate. I played all the time on the XB360 (even if I was never very good) so I do know what I’m talking about. Regarding the story, it’s solid. Not the next greatest thing, but it had its moments and was fun to play through. Characters felt believable, but you might need to play the prior Crysis games to understand some of them a little better....
